Thanks for sharing the information. I don't have a SA there and would really appreciate if anyone could recommend a SA there who will do oversea shipping for scarves.
If the chance is slim, do you mind sharing more information about the personal shopping or directing me to the related thread and/or website? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Best thing to do is call Both Selfridges and Harrods Personal shopping departments (both stores stock Hermes and both have in house Personal shopping departments) the numbers will be on their websites and then they will be able to help you.
good luck

Thanks for the information. The personal shopping Selfridge website link doesn't seem to work so I guess I will try calling or emailing the regular contact. For Harrods, I belive they don't have the scarf I am looking for according to H.com. Thanks again for your help.

I’ve been shopping through personal shopping at Selfridges, but always contacting my SA first, so all my items would be separated and the PS would just have to process the purchase and arrange the delivery. I don’t know if it makes sense if the store is closed and you don’t have a SA. Not sure how Harrods PS works, though.

This is very helpful. It's good to know that delivery arrangement is possible at H Selfridge. I will try calling H Selfridge again and the regular Selfridge contact.
Hopefully I will get a hold of someone soon and they will accept new customer. It sounds like it's better to talk to H Selfridge first. Thanks again for your help.

Hi everyone, hope you’re keeping safe!!
For those in touch W their SA, is it just me or is stock *extremely* low atm? There are like no new twillies or shoes or anything, let alone quota bags.
I’m wondering how often I should be in touch W my SA, it feels like I’m annoying her by asking her every 2-3 weeks for new stock

The inventory is indeed VERY low in London atm.
I spoke to the SM about it seemed there were few new twilly, shoe size replenishments or bags in the store and she told me that due to Covid bag production had been affected and also deliveries.

Thanks for the confirmation! I will back off a bit and also ease off on asking for quota bags

my advise is if you see anything online is better you buy it from there coz it's quicker rather than asking from your SA ... i have asked my SA something that I saw online and his advise was to buy it there ... is not that he can't order it for me but it's faster buy it online

Inventory is indeed very low atm; I'm still waiting for items ordered/requested back in Dec! The new collection scarves are also very slowly trickling in. However, the SAs I spoke to said they've been receiving a lot of shipments for RTW and certain accessories, and they seemed very optimistic about 'going back to a normal pace soonish' (in general, not just for RTW), so here's hoping! :happydance:

I agree stock seems very low atm especially new scarves, Twillies, shawls but I did get offered mini Evelyn and mini Constance this month. My SA is at Selfridges and she messaged me early this month and asked if I’d like any bags. Sounds like they are trying to offer bags to clients.

Ooh did you say yes to either bag?

On the topic of bag offers during the lockdown, has anyone got any offers for B/K from the London boutiques since the latest lockdown started in late Dec? And if so, did they ship the bag to you (as store collection is not possible)? Just curious as to 1) availability of B/K and 2) how the process currently works as usually for quota bags I understand you have to come to the store to pick up the bag in person.

Questions with exotic items in UK.

back in December I went in Selfridges to see my SA and ordered a special order watch. The process was fun and I got to see all available combo on iPad. I saw there were croc straps option and I was thinking about getting croc but SA said they were not allowed exotics anymore. I’m happy with swift watch strap and I placed my order. But my further thoughts and curiosity are... we’re not allowed exotics anymore? No exotic Kelly bracelets, no exotic wallets... and no exotic bags?!!! With a quick google search I found that Selfridges stopped selling exotics so I guess other boutiques are still selling them may be? My question is if I think I really want some exotic pieces, should I change store and start a relationship with a new SA?
