I just bought an ostrich Lindy 26 at Royal Exchange but now I am feeling buyer’s remorse... I didn’t realize that an ostrich Kelly, though rare, was cheaper. Has anyone done returns in London? Will this ruin my reputation as a buyer? I am just so torn...

You can only do store credit or exchange for hermes boutiques, in harrods they let you do returns if bought from the store.

More to the point, although they are fairly similar in price ( and it is not for anyone to tell others how to spend their $$)
1. These are 2 completely different bags, both in look and function/use etc. so not comparable (IMHO) .
2. Have you had the conversation with your SA about availability of an ostrich K? Do you think it would be offered within a reasonable ( everyone has their own definition on this one) amount of time? Even finding it right now , pre-loved, it would not be cheap.

This query is being played out on two other threads as well (Too shy or scared to ask; Hermes refund policy).
Although we might (not necessarily do) have some sympathy with your plight - thinking that the much more desirable Kelly in Ostrich would have cost you less than you paid for the Lindy - the only satisfactory outcome for you now is to take it back to RE as soon as possible. Then be honest and explain how you are feeling and hope that the staff there are sympathetic. On other threads you have had some very sound opinions on how that might affect the way you are looked upon.

In the UK we are fortunate to be covered by very clear buyer's rights for return, replacement or repair.
Your wish to return is not covered by any of this.
It will be completely dependent upon the policy of the business you are dealing with.

I have a different experience. A while back (the day CP reopened), I purchased a Cabacity from the men’s collection. I had a change of heart overnight and returned it in NBS the next day for a full refund. Was not given the impression that they were doing me a favour although it could be the case. I have even once received a refund in NBS for an item bought duty free at LHR. I believe this to have been a mistake though as it took forever and they credited the full price back to my card.

Hi those shopping in London stores. Just wondering if anyone has seen the new stock of bags/accessories come into the store yet. Mini Lindy, Constance to go wallet and I also hear there is a kelly to go wallet. Thanks x

heading the London in 2 days. Anyone could share their recent experience in getting B/K/C there? I scored a B25 in London 3 years ago and will definitely go try my luck again. Appreciate if anyone had any recent good news to share
