Seconded that it definitely is and mangers look down upon putting in multiple wish lists in the same area! Outside of regions I understand it's not shared (so all London / UK stores could see but not France or German stores for example).

It definitely is! I've tried this game before

Oh I didn’t know this, I have gotten all the SOs/ PO bags I wished for as both stores know I have relationships with them. I don’t really think of it as a game. I was asked recently at my last visits back to the UK to continue expressing my interests. Anyway, I would advise you to go with NBS then.

I do have a feeling that in London stores there is more stock and maybe less scrutiny on this point, but I understand it is part of SM approval. Probably comes up more when trying to transfer between stores.

Yes fair. The SMs both know I shop at the other’s store and I started the relationships with my SAs for the last 5 years, evolving naturally. I don’t ask for too much or for transfers. One has better RTW and the other has the right shoes and jewellery for me. It seems to work out.

Sounds like you are a model customer. So glad I read various tips here, because in the past I kept requesting transfers, not realising it was so awkward for them to do. I thought it was quite straightforward and saved me a trip to a different boutique.

Eek I'd no idea it was awkward for them to do so!! Oh man, now I feel bad, I thought I was doing my SA a favour by purchasing through her always

Well if you've managed to get the items no hassle I'd say that's a sign of 'low trouble'. I think it depends on the items - specifically bags seem to have more process wrapped around them but Jewellery and RTW seem to be ok and often suggested to me. Even silks.

That said, as I think other posters have agreed with me on this thread, I haven't had lots of luck with transfers into my store, so I just travel to NBS on a weekend.

So good to know! I've requested to transfer in leather goods (not bags) and a scarf. I was successful but it took time. Didn't know I was being a pain, so well noted for next time

Hey! Any tips on scoring a B or a K in london? Is the bond street store the best bet? I’m moving to london this month so desperately need help with the process
Honestly the more frequent posters in this thread will be better able to help. I prefer not to post about London stores in detail on tPF due to some aggressive responses - sorry I cannot be more help.

Are you interested in a long term relationship and starting an Hermes collection or would you only like one bag and would rather not wait? For the former I think you need to find the best fit SA at any of the London stores, and take it from there. Good luck!

Hi
I have relationship with a SA In RE store. I managed to get a birkin after a year and am thinking about my next one... I want a kelly but my SA suggested that they hardly get any in there. Has anyone been able to bag a kelly from there or do you think i should look at NBS?
Thanks x

I did in July, K32 sellier in etoupe but at NBS. Don’t want to repeat same story so try looking for my posts in the reveal post or Maintaning H relationship. I can recommend a good SA there, please pm me if you’d like his name

A little contrary but they 'hardly get' much of anything there but still mange to order / receive / offer each of everything. So I'm not sure changing SAs will help? If you go on about Kelly for ages I think you will eventually be offered one - maths.

Will you be offered one earlier if you start (assuming you don't have a SA at NBS?) a relationship at NBS? Dunno. Why not continue on both stores? In certain markets it's frowned upon but it seems some members' experience here have received bag offers in two London stores.
I think you will be offered a Kelly if there is one at RE and it might not be any longer wait than starting a new (if so) relationship at NBS.
Just my logic!
