Hi I will be in london these few days. Will be visiting hermes store in selfridge and nbs or even harrods. Would like to purchase a few small items as well. Which outlet would you think would offer a b/k/c more lightly.? Any advise will help. Thank you.
Yes I will .. thank you for the advice..Generally speaking, it is harder to get a b/k/c in London as a tourist than it would be in Paris. In London, there is a strong preference to reserve coveted bags for local clientele which is understandable. If you take some time to read through this thread, there is some wonderful advice provided from experienced members and it might be worth taking the time to look through. Chances are slim that any of the three London stores you mention would make it "easy" to score a coveted bag, though not entirely impossible. Of the three, NBS seems to have the most stock, so if you are up for the adventure, statistically speaking, your odds may be a bit better there. Good luck on your quest and please enjoy London even if you don't score a bag! Best wishes!
The United Kingdom records are connected, yes.Hi Everyone
I am going to Glasglow next week
I wonder if Glasglow and uk (london)hermes are connected
Because I have had purchase record in Uk i wonder if that would help my shopping in Glasglow
I hope anyone can help me
Thanks
They are very close together so it would be feasible to try them all, (if you devote the whole day and start early. ) If you have a list of items you’d like to purchase you can start with those and introduce the b/k/c question later. In my view though, it’s better if you are more focused rather than just say any b/k/c so narrow it down a bit. Harrods is my least favourite place as it’s very small and has no privacy when you visit. BUT you never know... enjoy and post to let us know how it goes.Hi I will be in london these few days. I have to give NBS a mention here after the last couple of days!
I took my Turquoise B30 in yesterday for repairs. The poor little thing has been used for literally everything just lately and the very base of the back handle needs work after catching on my jeans once too often and starting to separate, a rub mark on the front (entirely my fault too!) needs touching up, plus generally cleaning polishing etc.
I arrived there yesterday and they only had two SAs in the leather department and it was absolutely packed with people (I have never seen it so busy), so ok not their fault but a bit of a wait.
I thought I’d be bored with the potential wait time but OMG! This was better than reality TV any day and I commend the staff for remaining so courteous and professional after some of the conversations I witnessed. There are some really crazy people out there!
Anyway, when it was my turn I was served by a lovely young man who couldn’t have been more helpful.
Then this morning, less than 24 hours later I received an email with a quote for repair that was far far less than expected. They need to get the right colour for the rub from Paris so will be a few weeks before I get her back, but the service was great!
I totally agree with this, some of the behaviour I’ve witnessed in that store from over entitled customers is quite frankly shocking and the staff are so nice in there as well...
I don’t blame him really.I only witnessed the staff politely declining clueless customers who straightforwardly asked for B/K but that was interesting in itself.
The SA from Selfridges told me he had enough of rude customers and contemplating leaving
hi guys, question for you...I originally had NBS as my home store and received my first Kelly from there. Then my SA went on extended leave and i started working quite a bit with SA#2 in CP, from which i recently received my second Kelly. My original SA is back from leave and she's asked me what i want for my next bag.
SA#2 has taken my wish for my next bag but I think she will have my wait til next year for my new bag, whereas SA#1 has said it's possible to get this year. Couple that with the fact that NBS typically gets more stock + SA#1 is more senior than SA#2...how do I handle this situation? I like them both but obviously I'd prefer the bag sooner rather than later and that's more likely with SA#1
Thanks! Though I don't think I can give them two separate wishes. When they log into my account, they see the wish that's in there, regardless of which store i put it throughI would go with SA#1. NBS does get more stock, you have existing history with them and your SA is more senior. Give her your first priority specs and see if the store has one expected, if not you can give SA#2 your second preference.
Thanks! Though I don't think I can give them two separate wishes. When they log into my account, they see the wish that's in there, regardless of which store i put it through
so should i try to cancel the existing wish to make a new one at Bond St?? This feels like a lot of work...
