Yes, it's the same color. The color code is 8F. They're trying to streamline colors by adding the color group, so e.g., Gris Etain, Jaune Ambre, etc.
I am going to London in a few months and wanted to know if I will have a good chance at getting a Garden Party Tote at the boutique in London or one of the dept stores like Selfridges or Harrods? I had read stories about people not getting a Birken or a Kelly bag but would I be allowed to buy a Garden Party or do I need to establish a relationship for an entry level Garden Party bag?
Also, has anyone seen the Garden Party Totes at Heathrow in the Hermes store at T5 or T3? Last year, I had seen an Evelyn but it was the large one and I wanted the small and passed on it. I didn't think about getting the Garden Party Tote at that time since I purchased Chanel and Gucci bags.
This would be my first Hermes bag. I am a Chanel gal and was going to get another Chanel tote but thought about mixing it up with a Hermes tote, since all my bags are Chanel. Thoughts??

Hi there, you should be able to purchase a GP from the store without having to establish a relationship saying that, it is obviously dependent on stock. From time to time I have seen GP at Heathrow T5 and once upon a time you could call and hold a bag for 24hrs but not anymore and it is first come first serve. Are you based in the UK?
I’m based in the US so it’s cheaper for me to buy in London since I will be visiting.

None of the airport stores will divulge bag inventory or hold bags anymore, they used to but not anymore. It's the same for the stores and when you call you are patched through to the central customer services.
Very interesting. I wonder if they would give the info to a personal shopper who will be bringing me over to T5 since I depart out of T3? I can just try, if not I will hit most Hermes stores near my hotel.
