Although 10% will painful, sadly I can see it being quite likely. Although the pound has stabilised recently, it's still well below the Euro, hence why we seem to be the location of choice for international purchases.

For comparison, in my business we deal with European furniture manufacturers who have had 10%+ price rises in the last few weeks for pretty similar reasons.

My SA said that prices would be going up on Jan 2, so I was very lucky to get before the price increase. I heard another SA in store say the increase would be around 10%, but it's not always the same percentage across the store, so who knows?!

SLG prices on the website has been adjusted although on the main page some are still showing 2017 prices. But once you click on the item, the 2018 price is in effect.
e.g.

90cm silk scarf £295 -> £330 increase of 11.8%

For comparison, on the European sites:

Calvi card holder €242 -> €253 increase of 4.5%
140cm CSGM €925 -> €930 increase of 0.5%
90cm silk scarf €350 -> €360 increase of 2.9%

Oh ouch! Looks like the Samourais CSGM I am waiting to get will quite possibly be my last . I appreciate we in the UK are possibly now more on a par with international pricing but I really need to ask myself now how much I really need these at such a price jump overnight. Wowzer.

Possibly a silly question, but I ordered some SO gloves which were due before Christmas, but haven't yet come in. I presume these will be sold to me at 2018 pricing, and not the '17 pricing quoted at the time.
Is that right?

this is very helpful and based on this, it appears that the actual price increase in € value is not as drastic as the £ value, it is still relatively same price in Paris, e.g. for a K wallet... so not sure why they have to increase the £ value so drastically

Is that a possibility, do you think, if you used a UK card? The prices seem lower on the French site, just checked! Will they deliver to the UK from there?
