After reading several posts, I have a feeling it;s going to be hard to score a bag in London. I'm actually looking to buy a mini halzan and a garden and both are available on H.com uk in the color that I wanted. Does anyone know if I can order those online and pick it up in store and would I be able to get tax refund off of items bought online? I'm only going to be there for a few days and mostly on business so I won't have time to go to the store often.

Yes you can order them online and pick them up in store but no you can not get the tax refund off of online H purchases. HTH!

Hi everyone, I recently just moved to London from Hong Kong and I never really spent much in Hermes Hk-only some shoes and scarves. Also after the mainland Chinese tourists started coming, I gave up and I am a local Hongkonger..... Basically I have been looking for a Lindy 26 in any shade of blue as my friend recently brought one and I never knew they did one in the 26 size! ( This is how new I am here XD) However, after reading everyone posts- I know it would be super difficult to get one as I am too tourist looking... Which stores are the best to go? NBS or maybe exchange square? Also I have been told bluntly before by a SA in Paris to get a bag like that I need to spend a minimum of 1000-2000 on ready to wear or watches to be offer that... so it would be great if I could get some locals' advice on my options. As their RTW is slightly too mature for my style so I am not sure what to do.... pls help!

Give the online customer services a call and see if you can get the time transferred to store or if you can pay on collection? They maybe able to help. Good luck

I was in London in October and was able to buy a Jige. I wanted a B or a K but they didn’t offer me anything told me they had nothing but when I bought a necklace the jige suddenly appeared. I was told bags are first come first serve and the SA promised to stay in touch. So far nothing. I’ll be back there in 2 weeks. I’ll see if they have anything but I am not optimistic.

I was in London from the 2nd-17th of December for work and was looking for a garden party on the side. I only had a day to visit New Bond St and Harrods. I directly asked and was given the option to buy an electric blue or a zanzibar GP30. I passed on both since I wasn’t looking for blues. Prior to flying out at Heathrow T5 on the 17th, I tried my luck one last time —a noir GP30 was waiting for me :) I know this isn’t too hard to get but What I am saying is that, I guess if it’s meant to be, it will happen and you will get it— low stock or ‘no stock’.

Since this is the thread wrt London H stores, just thought I throw (1) a shout-out to the lovely SAs in the Cadogan Place store, where I came away with a new CDC and (2) thumbs down for the New Bond St snobbies who were not accommodative and as a result I just quietly turned my back and walked out, no tolerance for holier-than-thou attitude.
I have the exact same experience. I could never find any good service on NBS so all my London purchases have been from Cadogan Plc (or Sloane St)! Glad you got something to come away with too.
