this is very helpful and based on this, it appears that the actual price increase in € value is not as drastic as the £ value, it is still relatively same price in Paris, e.g. for a K wallet... so not sure why they have to increase the £ value so drastically

Sadly I think it is less about us in the UK and more about discouraging tourists from shopping over here. With this price rise France (and mainland Europe) is again the cheapest place to buy H. I think I read recently that the low £ has made London a huge luxury shopping draw for tourists.

Trying to look at the positive, as Pinkfairyjade says, there may be more readily available stock now!

Is that a possibility, do you think, if you used a UK card? The prices seem lower on the French site, just checked! Will they deliver to the UK from there?

Looks like it. Just made a dummy purchase from the .FR site and I can get the item delivered in the UK or collected from one of the stores in London. I have a bank account in France which would make paying for any order a straightforward transaction without foreign exchange fee or conversion rate surprise. I have ordered from the .us site using my UK Amex without problem but delivery address was local.

Good info, thank you. Might also make sense for me to buy in person on mainland Europe instead!

Exactly my question too! I can't think of anything else other than corporate greed!

I had the misfortune to buy a 90cm in Harrods 10 days before Christmas .
I decided not to keep it ,and went there with a 45 minute window for returning the scarf and having a look in some either shops before meeting friends early evening on New Years Eve.
The Hermès concession was cordoned off and a huge queue snaked back , I was told I had to queue although I wasn't interested in buying and the cashier was twiddling her thumbs.
AS I queued I could see the SA showing SS2018 scarves , unfortunately I didn't have time for an exchange and anyway don't feel especially committed to any particular design as yet, so I grabbed a refund and made a rapid exit.
I know this is commonplace in Paris , but it doesn't float my boat so I'm giving service at Harrods 1 out of 10 !

Hello ladies,

I am in london currently and I was hoping to get either a B30 or a K28 in rouge vif, rouge grenat, or noir. Do you think that is possible? And which store is better new bond st or sloane st?
