Hermes Blacklist?

I know for certain that there are Hermes Brand Protection employees in those Facebook groups and more than a few of the resellers have been blacklisted; though it’s usually not a big legal-letter thing, it’s more of the SA/SM blocking bag offers without any word to the client. Many of these clients don’t recognize what actually is happening as the current legitimate low inventory environment gives good cover to the “sorry, we have zero wishlist items right now!” story. As inventory and offers get more plentiful on Social Media, I predict hearing more and more complaints from confused clients wondering why their previously good relationship has “suddenly” turned sour.
They must be overwhelmed by the number of these clients reselling over and over because there are certain ones who keep doing it but keep getting bags. Today I saw one who does it regularly post an epsom c18 in mauve with rgh stamped u purchased 5/22. Sold already within 2 hours: the listing was for double the retail price. Amazing.

Yeah but in those scenarios, it wouldn't surprise me if the resellers have extensive networks and they can't necessarily pinpoint it to that specific client. What we don't know or can tell is if they are sending in friends, relatives, or even finding Bobbie Sue waiting in the Chanel line and offering them a few bucks every couple of weeks to purchase some things for them at Hermes, and then re-selling the bags they get through those means too.

Much of this would be alleviated by a global system.

Since much of Europe isn’t in one system you can do this in neighboring countries only a brief train ride away and each store isn’t really the wiser.

The brand protection folks in the groups don’t really have a way to know which 8 or 10 stores the resellers are regularly buying from. Add in networks of buyers working for a reseller and…

I do notice an inordinate number of items for sale seem to originate with members whose names and locations suggest they are from a single small country with only one Hermes store. Makes it kind of obvious that they’re gaming the lack of centralized system…

I suspect many long term clients are the biggest resellers. Who NEEDS quota bags in all colours of the rainbow? Seriously, there are not THAT many nice and useful things that I imagine one would like in a year to buy to score 2 quota bags. For a normal consumer, there definitely would be seasons that one loves everything but there are other seasons that one couldn’t manage to pick out anything. So what do such loyal customers who buys 2 quota bags every year do?! Buy and sell!

This is the habit that Hermes had groomed isn’t it? The preference for loyal customers.

So there, the blacklist does exist. ;)

She mentions him (Connor) in the video as having received a letter as well. Not sure if he was banned though.
The funny thing for me is after that hour-long complaint (while forwarding through the majority) against H, she does clarify that she will not stop buying H products and she will still unbox (some) H items on her channel as a service to her watchers.
If I was as upset with H as she is, to an hour-long video, I wouldn't give the brand a cent more than I have. I'd take my business elsewhere.
I think the drama with H helps her channel's popularity.

Purseonfleek has always been buying a lot of luxury items from different brands (Hermes, Chanel etc.) and, after a while, reselling them because they didn’t suit her lifestyle or she didn’t like them anymore. She is not the only one doing this, there are a lot of people in luxury community having this behaviour.
If you make a wrong luxury purchase, I understand that you want to sell it in order to get your money back and get something more suitable for you. Anyway, I really dislike when someone buys a hot item with the only purpose to sell it at premium price and make money. I hope all these “resellers” will banned by fashion brands ASAP.

Also a good defense against defamation claims since she isn't calling for monetary harm to the company. I wouldn't be surprised if Mel is either being counseled or has sought an hour or two of an attorney's time prior to posting this video.
