so... I may be visiting Vienna in a couple of days and I remembered this thread. I wanted to know if anything has changed at all regarding this bizarre boutique and whether they have managed to change any of their shady practices? Surely someone would have reported how they are using dodgy, hand-written paper receipts and have been investigated at least once?
Oh I see, it is so strange that even with several people reporting nothing has changed but I suppose unless the main office gets seriously involved the issue will not be solved at all. In that case I won’t waste my time, I would rather go visit a nice cafe and enjoy some cakeHi,
I have not been there for ages and don’t have any intentions to go back! I don’t have anything changed unless someone reported their shady business which I doubt! I did send the hand written receipt to our finance ministry but no one replied and that was years ago!!
I would not recommend you to go there!!
But just my two cents
Beside that Vienna is a lovely city and I am sure you won’t regret ☺
what!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!Oh my, the guy at the door did not let me enter. First I thought it was due to COVID restrictions, but not even after someone left I got in...

overcame my "buying from the boutique-refusal" and was in Munich today. And even if you would've been able to get in it would've been probably poitnless..worst service EVER! Handwritten notes and no stock and ofc the lists for b/k are still closed. They had three Twillys (or at least those were the ones they showed me), I asked for a Herbag and Picotin. They had neither. First she said they had no bags at all and I was really surprised and questioned her again so at one point she she caved and said we have the Evelyn in 31 in gold but I passeed. Then I asked her about their B/K system and she said they lists are clossed. Back in 2015 or so I got hand written receipt two for one Clic Clac, some China and ties I bought.
I moved back to Vienna at the end of last year and am really wondering what to do as it feels like I am done with Chanel and really want a B25/28 or both (one can dream haha). Can anyone advice if Salzburg is better or Prague or Munich? I am still going to London regularly but I assume the "competition" is just way too high. Got put on the wishlist once on Bond Street but neither me nor my friend (she wore a special order K28) heard back. She usually shops in Geneva but they told her since Covid the stock is really low. Thank you all!![]()
Oh, you can be thankful for the authentic interaction with the locals:I visited Vienna last week, the store was rude don’t waste your time.
Cross posted from the what’s available thread. Service was ok but improved when we started talking specifics on the silks availability.Vienna today, crossposted to the Vienna store thread: limited stock for sure at the pop up store. Tons of ties and small selection of small/large sizes on shoes and A/W22 ready to wear. Pretty decent stock on the new A/W22 silk patterns.
Thanks for sharing! After reading all the comments about how bad the service is in the Vienna store, I am really unsure about going there - especially if the stock is so low? I always like to pop in to the local stores whilst on my travels. I need some socks/ mens stuff - do you think it’s worth it?Cross posted from the what’s available thread. They were really nice to my husband when he inquired about items. It is mostly women’s for what is available there. If it’s not out of the way and there isn’t a line, I would say stop by. If it seems like a hassle, I would’t bother until the new store is completed in the future. Thanks for sharing! Didn’t catch the exact date but the build out looks like it will take a long time from now. Others may have more specific times.@LolaWhisp thank you Do you happen to know when the new store is supposed to open?
