I have an evil idea:
Sometimes it is helpful to look at the merchandise at the store. But always be prepared, check the website to know what is available there and be able to ask for the items directly.
And if the service is ****ty and you do not need to build up a buying history, order the shown item on your phone right in front of their eyes...

Sorry to hear about your experience! I was in Vienna recently but did not go in the store. Could you perhaps shop in Salzburg? I found the staff there quite nice plus they issue computerized receipts [emoji6]

Was in this store very recently: the SA followed me around, but when I finally inquired if they had ‘Awoo’, she appeared to have no idea what it was. I described it as a men’s department scarf, with a wolf in a forest setting— “Oh, you mean ‘Howl’ “
I had previously heard the reputation of this store, personally experienced it on my last visit, so had low expectations this time— which were set appropriately !

Long story short: I wanted a blanked scarf (a big one) and the first SA ( no smile, no feeling, no reaction) showed me a rectangular and I said I was a square one. And another one said: we don’t have. I saw one in two tones - like caramel and beige - asked if I can see. The SA said: this is not what you are looking for and too big for me. I had to insist showing me that scarf. She finally took it out.... and it was exactly what i was looking for. I asked if they have a new one and SA denied and said everything was sold out. And then another SA standing next to me said: we got only one. There was no description, nothing.... no conversation at all. At the cashier also no reaction. She just asked me how I wanna pay. And then I took my bag and left. The invoice was handwritten.

This cool and unfriendly service is just s***

Thanks for letting me sharing my frustrations and understanding.
Not much related but I want to thanks you a lot for posting your receipt . Because I bought a Constance from my personal shopper and no doubt bag is real, but I just concerned about the receipt (hand written) and started do research and found this thread. So glad I can compare your receipt and mine and they look the same, including the QR code and Credit card print.
Somebody mentioned there is a bigger thread about hand written receipt. I can't find it , can somebody give me a link?

I was thinking the same but I just loved that scarf so much!! I am usually a really patient person because I used to work in kind of custom service area and I was trained always to be nice/professional to our customers but these people just made me so angry!! And I was just wondering if there is a way to complain to the H headquarters or management!
Sorry to hear abt your horrible experience. Sometimes, these SA's need a slap of reality that they are there to SELL and our purchase goes into PAYING their salary. Harsh fact but true. Don't get frazzled by such nonsense, spend your money on other stores.

Just a short update: I sent the hand written invoice to our ministry of finance (fraud department) in January. NO REPLY UNTIL NOW!!!! just so crazy. I swear, I will never go back. I will order everything online or ask my hubby to get it from other countries. THIS STORE is just f***...

What was the reply?

To be honest, it would have surprised me if they cared. Austrian authorities can't be bothered with anything.

Does anyone know if the store in Vienna has older scarves? I thought that the franchise stores are a great place to find scarves from previous seasons. Yesterday I went to the Vienna store (1st time for me) and asked for older scarves. The SA told me that they only had scarves from the current season (SS 19) and the upcoming season (FW19). I didn't want to inspect the drawers as if I didn't believe her and I'm wondering if it's worth going back and asking someone else. She told me they had tons of tourists and tourists would buy anything.

They often have scarves from previous collections, wht the lady told you is not right at all. I often have the problem the other way round in Vienna, I would love to have the newer scarves ant they only have "old" ones.
This is just so Vienna.....
