AVR pave setting

I'll be happy with both so here is hoping that they can find a hearts ad arrows or avr in the new shipments!

I'm starting to really like the august vintage equal to hearts and arrows. So hopefully one will turn out and I can find one stone between the two styles.

Ame - with pave, do you think the oec will look okay in the 2620? I found this video of the 2620 without pave on YouTube which would be similar if I get it. Bf said he would bend on the pave if the oec comes in first

Damn Whoops..sorry to hear about another black spot...well crosses fingers and toes for both you and me that we find something soon.

Sarah just got back to me and said that Tacori is going do a price increase on March 1st, I asked her how much is the increase, and now I'm waiting to hear back from her. She also said that she's going to start to look for a stone for me..so hopefully ;)

We haven't told anyone actually...only my close gfs and his brother know that we're hunting for a ring. We want a ring my finger before we decide to announce it to everyone. Well we need to get a ring..and he needs to pick a date that he wants to propose AND THEN we will announce it to our families lol. How about you?

I also told sarah that I'm open to 1.4-1.5 (1.3 is the last ressort). Cut is very important, I want H&A ideally. Colors are either F-H. VS1-VS2 eye-clean. I remember when my boyfriend 1st brought up that we should start looking for a ring...it's funny that I was like "i want nothing less than VVS1 and D-E color!".

His side knows because they are small and close, for me, only my parents really. I have a huge family so we figure no need without a ring. But he wanted to tell them to ask for permission to marry me. Hehe

Price increase! Oh no! Well I have a 1.1 g vs1 hopefully on it's way and a possible g si1 august vintage so those are my two best shots! Hope it's before march 1st! You and I got ten days to find our stones! Let's go GOG....

Well you have a huge range so it will hopefully work out we kept it at g. Bf did not compromise for the h. He doesn't want it at all :( we are both fairly sensitive with color. He saw the difference right away in the stores

Yeh..10 days..ugh. I don't think I'll make it so I'm just praying for not a huge increase. Hopefully those two stones work out for you though :) I'm really worried about the H too though because my bf way more sensitive than me..but we'll see. It just needs to faxe up really white..that's what I'm mainly concered about.

Ten days is enough time with that kind of range of price and 4c combination. In the two weeks Sarah has been looking we have had at least 4 stones come in for tests. Even though they didnt work out, finding them was qui k. My issue was black carbon spots which shouldn't be a problem in the vs1-2 range or is rare. I have bad luck.

I'm not sure how muchthe increase is since Sarah hasn't mentioned it but even it's 2-3% that's the discount amount and with settings this expensive it'll probably be on the $200-400 range hopefully not too bad and crazy.

UGH. I hate the increases. I REALLY hope one of these stones comes together.

I think an old style stone (AVC or AVR for example) would look great in the pave settings.

Sarah just got this in....what do you guys think? I sent her an email asking how eye-clean it is...still waiting to hear back :/ I'm really nervous that it's an SI1 though...but I think I'll need to be ok with SI1 if I want 1.5 carat around my price budget. Sarah said that finding a 1.4 is like a needle in a hay stack...great..bleh.

I think that if you are considering it to just put the deposit and reserve it before someone else. It's fully refundable so it's good to be safe and reserve it first. Don't want to miss out on a great eyeclean si1!

The ISEE2 is amazing but I would be wary of the crystal being the clarity determing factor. With my experience with black carbon that is one thing I would definitely look for and see what your comfort level is.

Don't worry. I haven't heard back from her either today and I was having a stone brought in so no worries. She might be sick even? also, they are east coast time and close at 3pm california time so not sure if that affects you.

My search is the same... waiting on a new stone and maybe the august vintage. But my bf decided to change the setting haha. it's the same as the other one (i havent changed my icon) but instead, it has a round halo intead of cushion. the 2639rd.

Yea, still a round. We decided the 2620 is a little more common than i wanted. and the bf is super attached to a round shape. So now when the ring comes i will have 100% never seen it. he's excited about that.
