Wow really, you can tell a fake just by comparing it to a real one? I am fairly new to Bal but I have 2 authentic Bals to compare any fakes to- and in some cases I *absolutely cannot tell* which are fake. I know the actual authenticators have a list of specifics they can compare to but for just a person off the street who might own a few authentic Bals, it is getting *very difficult* to tell against some of the better fakes.

Well, unlike you, I really doubt how reliable it could be that an authenticator authenticates your questionable designer handbag by simply looking at some pictures using their secret indictors. Are they any craftsman from Balenciaga with many years' experiences ?
As for the bag I got from Reebonz, too many giveaways besides those mentioned above. It is a new one of year 2015 , yet it has peeled-off leather on it already. The leather on all my other authentic Bal bags doesn't peel off at all, even the one of 8 years old.

A bad fake , period.

Reebonz could've probally got away with it if they had sent me a "BETTER FAKE" as you said. Somehow they just sent me a bad fake.

I am from Australia and I have made many purchases from reebonz and all my bags are authentic. I never doubt the authenticity of their items. They have a massive boutique in CBD Sydney. If they were selling fakes, they would have been out of business a long time ago.

Exactly! I am aware that Australia's rules and regulations of imports are just as strict as Singapore's, if not stricter. Reebonz would have never gotten away with trying to bring in fake goods into Australia, much less try to sell them! I've seen pics of the Reebonz store in Sydney - it is indeed massive!!!

Agree. I noticed these people have only 1 to 9 posts and just on this thread. Very suspicious. Maybe they are competitors of reebonz or those SAs who tell shoppers never to buy from reebonz (as maybe because they are losing business; that's the problem of the brand and their business tactic, not theirs!).

Anyway, I think most of those who has complaints about customer service are from Australia. Maybe there's something wrong there and reebonz should do their own investigations as their reputation, as you said, is being tarnished.

Yes, I agree and was thinking exactly the same thing!

I am also from Australia and as I have mentioned in my previous posts, I have purchased loads of stuff from them before, enough to make me one of their solitaire/black gold members (whatever), and have always received authentic, nicely packaged goods.

I, too, am currently a Solitaire member. I keep wondering when will they decide to make me upgrade me to a Black Member. I reckon I have already spent quite a lot with them to "qualify" - if that's how they are basing the requirements on. Hahah 😂😂

Sorry I was actually trying to reply to you, gagabag! 😄☝🏽☝🏽 silly phone.

No worries! Not sure how, I just received an email from them one day congratulating me of my "status". It didn't really matter to me so I just ignored it! For perks, they send me more free credits than usual, there is a virtual personal SA assigned to me that I could contact (email) if I need to, & they send me small gifts every Christmas (even if I had been out of action for almost 2 years). That's pretty amazing service, I thought!

So does this mean you are doubting authentication services here at purse forum and other professional on line authenticating services? And that you believe your own judgment from owning 2 bal bags is much more qualified? That's impressive!

Don't try to drag the whole forum into this, I just don't trust the Reebonz site and they'd lost their business with me.
Authentication service here is much appreciated, however, at the end of the day, it's up to me how I spend my two grand, definitely not on that bad fake Bal bag Reebonz tried to sell me.

Oh they told me i'd need to hit $10,000 worth of purchase to make a Black member. I'm a Solitaire and have asked them.
