This is a random off topic comment but I was in a new consignment store that has opened in Brisbane. I was wondering around when a girl came in to say that a Chanel bag she had purchased from the store yesterday was a fake!! Apparently she took it into the Chanel store and they said it wasn't authentic.
I guess unless you're buying from the actual retailer you can never be sure!!

OMG I only read this now - crying.I too bought a bag from them and definitely will be taking this matter to ACCC as they haven't given me a refund. So upsetting. It is just disgusting how mns deceive people.

Bombard them with emails every day! Be persistent, if what ever you bought isn't what you thought it should be like - like being authentic! Then you are entitled to a refund no matter how long you had the item for!

Yes the Chanels were fake. I've been speaking to someone who received one.
What a waste of $2500-2800. I bought my very first AUTHENTIC second hand jumbo for $2500 including postage. Those poor customers.

I felt so sorry for that girl who came in - I hope she got her money back. The sales assistant freaked out when she said she had been into Chanel!! I hope that store goes through their stock a little more carefully - it would be a little distressing if they put that bag back out for sale...
My friend and I were looking a a LV purse and it looked really suspect.
It's so disappointing that it feels like you can't trust anyone!! Even stores who represent themselves as selling authentic goods!!
Without a doubt I definitely believe they re-sell the returned fakes. It explains why the item "Sells out" then magically only a select few re-appear on their site under a different sale title.
They are shameless.
Unluckily for me, I purchased a Prada tote mid July from MNS. At the time, I did do my research and there did not seem to be many concerrns regarding the website or fakes. I thought because it was endorsed by Vogue and celebrities as well as having a reputable PR agency (Torstar), that I would be in safe hands. But during the waiting period, I've seen more and more of these threads not only on tpf but also whirlpool etc. Though I haven't posted, I've been keeping up to date and planning out my strategy from here. I received my despatch notification today so as soon as I receive the bag, I'll be demanding a full refund from MNS and promptly returning it, then heading to the boutique to purchase a guaranteed authentic bag. I'm so upset that MNS have caused such a headache for so many unknowing customers who put their trust in the website. I will be reporting this to any regulatory bodies and doing my part to make sure they are shut down!
GOOD LUCK with your refund. On Whirlpool someone says they were refused a refund because MNS "never has and never will sell fakes" or some phrase like that.

I found the website randomly by myself one day.
My friend purchased her prada bag from mns and she really loves her bag, recommending me to get one too... Do I tell her about the possibility that it may be fake? Or just keep quiet. I don't want to make her upset but I know she paid more than 1k and if it is fake, omg...she'll freak out for sure.
Mynetsale.com.au it's a website and they sell designer goods at a discount. Recently they have been offering prada saffiano bags at like 30-50% off but a lot of people are saying their products are not genuine.
