I have no idea of authenticity of these items and will leave the research to others who know the item. But is it realistic that he sold this many of these identical items?

Are they allowed to leave feedback such as "reported seller to cops"
I know that feedback can't make reference to a dispute or investigation.

OP, you have nothing to lose by reported (and calling ebay about) that feedback.

Feedback comments containing inappropriate content.

Feedback that includes references to law enforcement investigations or eBay or PayPal investigations.

OP, you have been the victim of a crime. Either someone in the postal system stole the hat or the buyer is making a false claim. (Personally I would be betting on the latter.) I don't know how the system works in the US but could you not file a police report of your own?

 Your buyer is the scammer.

Although at the beginning of the thread, your assumptions of counterfeit sales and feedback padding weren't proven, once you posted the ID, his history becomes crystal clear!

UPDATE: I was able to get my money back.

After talking to 4 ebay representatives who didn't help and after reporting him 4 times to ebay which didn't do anything. I found a rep who told me they only allow ONE empty box, so if he did it multiple times, they wouldn't buy his story. Had it appealed for the second time and got my money back.

I'd really recommend doing some detective work. Truth is ebay knew he's done this, but they didn't know I knew, so they made it look innocent. When I saw he left neutral feedback for a seller for a $2,200 jacket stating "i wish i could of gotten this item".... I contacted that seller and told them my story and asked them for theirs and they fell for the same scam. And once I contacted ebay with that other item number, they than told me they would refund the money back to me.

OH and a shout out to this Mike G. who's a complete as*hole on the phone and has his pics all over eBay pics but doesn't even their rules.

So glad it all worked out for you. Being the squeaky wheel often works with ebay. I can't believe that if you hadn't pushed it, he would have been able to get away with multiple empty box scams.

Just finished reading the whole thread. I'm glad to read you could get your money back. I can't believe the buyer is still active on eBay and has sold a quite a few LV. I can't tell whether they are authentic or not but when a seller has multiple of same brand new LVs, I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole.

I was thinking the exact same thing. It's wonderful that the OP got their money back but why is he still a registered user? UGH!

It was like reading a novel it had ups and downs twists and turns but it worked out in the end ...happy for her but sad about the tat remark I have70% of my body covered and I would never act like this man

Ebay never seems to ban anymore (unless of course you don't pay your fees)

bought some counterfeit balmain jeans, got documents to prove they were fake and got my money back. a week later the seller relists the same jeans (yes, the same jeans I proved was counterfeit and ebay refunded me for). and my feedback "asian fake, beware" was removed because it was derogatory and i got a warning LOL.

oh, and I reported this seller's item (for example item number 181285369597) he puts balmain on the listing but it's not balmain. and item number 251401786038, puts dior homme in listing, even next to brand name, but in description he said hand made.... I am mostly pissed off because I have the REAL versions of those items, and I'm top rated seller + power seller, but my listings are below theirs in search results, because their listings are dirt cheap and has a lot of watchers. So I report them listing violations and brand name mis-represnetations.
Do they ban their listings? No.
Instead, they remove one of my listings.
What for? Had an unisex alexander wang beanie...listed in both women's accessories and men's accessories. they flagged my listing and told me to re-list it in the "Unisex Clothing, Shoes & Accs" category.

Seriously feel like you can find a 200 year old skull in your backyard and report it to ebay cops and they'd point you as the prime suspect.... yeah, i am done trying.

Glad this worked out for the OP.
Dealing with ebay seems to be an uphill battle on most days.

On a side note - Props to JustAgUrL for not replying to an overly aggressive post that I thought was quite harsh.
