The black leather quilted ones that are still on the website? Unless they are doing the same thing as the Balenciaga outlets where they have full priced merchandise in store, I have never personally seen the black ones that are still full price on the Gucci website (or in regular boutiques) going on sale at the outlet.

yep, i specifically remember they had the black marmont backpack since i was on the hunt for a new backpack. i just checked the gucci website and it's the same one they're selling right now (but it's sold out on the site). granted i don't think the discount was very steep but i was very surprised to see it. could be the exception, not the rule.

I thought you meant the Marmont flap bag.

Older items on the Gucci website, even some that are at the outlet, can be sometimes found using a Google search. They usually show that the item is not available in my experience.

I was just looking on the Gucci website for some Mickey items when I noticed they are now completely gone. Only Donald is on there now

I'm hoping this means they will be going to the outlets soon! Anyone have any insight on this?
How long does it normally take for a collection to go from store to outlet? Dying to buy a few more pieces for my collection!!

@Peter Pan1 thanks for putting this question out there. I'm a huge Disney fan and was wondering about this myself! Would love to add one or more items from the collection to my own collection, but not at full retail price. I did see the beige shoulder bag pop up at a sale price on an Instagram "deal finder" account's feed, but it was already sold out by the time I saw it.

Yes! I’m always on the hunt for some Disney items Especially now that I was laid off by Disney

I’m new to the Instagram deal pages. Do they post deals that they see or are they trying to sell the product themselves? If the latter it would make me nervous if the product was authentic or not!

Specifically, it's an account I follow on Instagram that alerts people to deals on store websites -- Nordstrom, Saks, Neimans, Farfetch, etc. Not sure if I'm allowed to post the name here or not??? (I know some message boards have rules against that). So no, the person isn't actually selling anything herself...she's just kind of a "deal finder" who posts the links to the deals and, I assume, receives a small commission if someone clicks the link and makes a purchase. I thought I was good at finding things...but she's truly a master!

I'm so sorry that you were laid off by Disney...this pandemic has been so hard on so many...truly just devastating impacts on people. My family and I typically travel to WDW a few times a year, and when we used to live in SoCal we had APs and visited the parks several times a month. We haven't been since the pandemic began -- have had to cancel a couple of scheduled trips...and miss it so much. :(

I had this same question! I really want the shoulder bag... it was up on Jomashop for an amazing price but I was afraid to buy from them. Now I regret it. Would love to get it direct from Gucci at a discount but I wonder if it is possible...

I was looking at this last week and an associate from Gucci at Nordstrom said they could get it for me and then this week when I called back to purchase, they said it was all pulled from the stores and they couldn't even order at all! She did say it was going to the warehouse/outlet but had no idea how to get inventory or order.
In a panic I called Gucci and they were able to track down one of the bags I wanted and ship it. I'd still like to find some other pieces if they go to the outlet, but don't know how to go about hunting it down! What does everyone think about places like TheRealReal and Jomashop? Are they authentic?

I think I would feel OK buying from TheRealReal. They even have a partnership with Gucci, I believe.

Jomashop... well there are plenty of threads in this forum that say they are legit but I was uncomfortable buying from them. There are some pretty scathing reviews online.

Either way you take a risk.

Real real has had many problems with authenticity. Do a google search you will find many news articles about the issues they have. I have bought from them but I will only buy lower priced items (like Rebecca Minkoff). I personally wouldn’t buy a high end brand because of the problems they’ve had authenticating. I trust fashionphile more but their prices are often way too high and not worth it. I’ve only heard good things about Jomashop.
