My friend who works at saks tells me that what saks has in store belongs to the brand and not saks. For example she can't use her employee discount on a Gucci bag inside an actual saks store but can order it online with her discount.

Exciting NEWS!!! I just contacted SAKS via Chat to fix my payment issue and was told my paypal declined the transaction, how strange. Anyway I updated my payment method and was told :

Thank you for holding! Your order is being processed. Once we complete the processing, we will send an email confirming your order.
Correct, the handbag has now become available to be shipped. Usually pre order merchandise can take up to 10 business days to be filled and shipped. Once tracking has been assigned you will be notified promptly via email.

I recommend contacting SAKS and see if your order is being processed!!!

Well at least you have an estimated date of 3/2. Mine doesn't state anything and when I called I was told there is no info on it yet.

I guess time will tell.

I guess they do it differently than Nordstrom then. I get mine online or in store with discount.

Omg!! I cannot believe it! My Saks order is confirmed. I got an email and just checked online. Woo hoo! The most awaited bag in my collection. It's been 92 days since I placed my order. I have to give it to Saks for fulfilling its obligation. I cannot wait!!

Here's the body of the email from Saks with details on my order which followed (but not posted here for obvious reasons). Because I have not checked my email in a couple of days, I actually received the confirmation yesterday so it is already on it's way. It shows arrival expected 2/28. I will update when I receive it. Getting excited ... Anyone else get confirmation??

Hi. This is public info on the Gucci "no chat" thread. Steven is great!! He was able to secure a Studded Disco Bag a few months ago for me, which I purchased and LOVE!!!
Sometimes I text him via cell phone; other times via email. Good luck. :)

Really?!?! Let us know when you receive the shipping confirmation email!! My online status said its summited but no actual estimate delivery date. Just said it will ship on or before 3/2. However I was informed that my order is currently in processed which is good news!
