there is no list for the bags.
i bought in the last 5 years over 20 hermes bags in the same store.
15 are birken size 35cm and 40cm, one is a croco miel 40cm it only took 6 month to get this bag and 3 kellys and 2 bolide and one hac travelling bag. you have to find the right person in the store where you can connect too. my store is very friendly and i love my sales person who is in charge of the special orders and all orders of the bag.
i get 4 hermes bags a year. which is great, because i collect them.
in every store you have to find the right sales person for you and they really get everything for you, no matter what it is....!

You must be there in person. You have to call regularly to see when it opens, and once you know the day you have to be there in person.

oh really? i went to sloane st and they told me to call everyday.. so i said 'ok ill try and come in regularly' and the male SA said,' no just call us'. He wasnt really that friendly and his attitude put me off slightly..
i frequent the Harrods concession and like the SAs there but was advised to get on the list in sloane st or bond st.

Thanks for your help!

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. I meant call the boutique on the phone everyday to get the date, and once you know the date go there on the day and place your PO. Good luck!

I personally think that the London boutiques SAs are a bit frosty, so I just skip them all together and get my bags from Paris.

No no you were clear LittleH. Thanks.I thought that itd be better to drop by everyday so if the list is opened that day then i can place my PO immediately. Thats what i told the SA and he said 'no JUST CALL'. I felt as if he didnt want me to get on the list at all!

ITA about the frosty reception. I don't get why they should behave that way. It takes too much unneccesary effort to call everyday only to receive unfriendly treatment. Thats why i love the harrods branch.. too bad their inventory is not too great.

Me too, I love them. However I'm surprised they didn't tell you their list was opened on the 28th of Jan??? I know for a fact that it was as my SA there called me to ask if I was interested to place an order with them.

If you can just hop on the eurostar and go to FSH, worse comes worse you'll place an order and if you're lucky you might just find your bag in the back room.

im sooo confused. They did tell me to visit at the end of jan to let them know what I wanted ( no one called me..i went there to ask) . i did just that.. went to sloane st and i told them my specs..that was before the managers went to Paris. I thought that meant that i had already placed my order.

When they came back from Paris i called them and one of the SAs in sloane st said, 'no ma'am u have to come back in feb when the list opens' ?!?!

And now they said to call again 1st, 2nd or 3rd of march. The list should open then... Am i being duped?:confused1:

Harrods had their list opened at a different time, as they are a concession. They get a small allocation of course but still... It was open on January 28th.

Sloane St I believe still hasn't opened the list.

oh i see.. thanks for the info!! when i thought that i had placed my PO in sloane st.. i never thought of asking my SA in Harrods as i didnt want to place two POs at a go.. in hindsight i should have asked huh?

I think after reading several threads here, the best bet is to eurostar it to FSH..
