I ask her about order , they didn't provide me a chance also, as I'm a tourist , don't know why ?

She said you can call or visit to ask if there are available or not.

I will stay in London till this Sun.

then back again in Oct. and Paris in Oct. also.

How can I get one ? TIA. ;)

I think it's as no1Hfan says, if you have a gd relationship w an SA or are a VIP you can easily put your name down for any bag you want whenever you go in the store.
This will then go to the next podium (now nxt Feb) where it will be ordered then when it's ready you'll get them.

Also if you have a gd rs w the store you can tell them what you like and if a bag you want comes along they will give you a ring so you can come and see it and buy it!

The last time I went to FSH there was a list right next to the cash desk. So I think if you want you can try and tell an SA your preferences.

But as with all Hermes experiences, you'll need to be really lucky or build up a rs with the store/SA. I believe it helps if you're patient as well. I think as a tourist, it might be a bit more tricky getting on the list, just my opinion.

Good luck everyone.

would like to know the procedure. If I managed to get on the London list and when the bag arrived at H London, do I need to purchase the bag in person in London? If I am not in London when the bag arrived, will they ship the bag to HK to me?

Hi guys~ I know it may be too early to talk about the list this year, I am not 100% sure about how the list works. well~ I know we need to call and to queue, but when I finally get the chance to start order, will the SA show me the 'leather book' of the new colours?
If they don't, how could I know what the colours like in different leathers? Anyone has a experience?

^These are called Podium orders. In other words the Store Managers would have been to Paris a few weeks earlier and ordered a list of Birkins/Kellys in various sizes/leathers. Depending on what will be available to them they then offer these bags to potential clients via the podium list. You will only be offered what is available on the stores own podium list so depending on where you are in the queue when it's you turn they will say something like "In the 35cm size we have Indigo togo with Palladium Hardware and Blue Jean swift with Palladium Hardware left" for instance. You will then be shown the leather swatches for these colours while you make up your mind. Then they take your details and call you when the bag is available which is usually 6-12 months depending on when the bag is shipped to the store from Paris. You cannot specify a particular colour/leather combination if it is not available on the podium list or has already been allocated to a different client. Hope this helps.

thank you so much Syma! it helps a lot!!! hope i will know the list open date before its actually opened, as i don't live in london.

Actually I think you will get to know on the day it is but some SA's have gives a time frame but not an exact date. I am sure syma will either confirm this or tell me that i am wrong. I highly recommend that you read the other threads mentioned in this one and this thread as even I got a lot of answers that way.

Yes that is correct. I'm afraid most of the SA's are really sketchy about when the list opens and may or may not give a rough guide, as the week seems to change every year. I suspect this is to avoid long queues and of course a lot of disappointed customers. If there is an SA in London that you have dealt with before maybe he/she could give you a time frame otherwise it's just a case of ringing everyday and hotfooting it down to the boutiques on the day it opens. Although lately I have noticed that there is a central customer services centre who answer the phone in London (a bit like the vuitton customer services) so getting through to an actual boutique is much harder. In days gone by it was a lot easier placing an order in Paris. I don't know if this is still the case?
