OMG, that bag looks like something that cost $8 at one of those dollar stores!! And she will probably have to carry it a couple times to make the mother happy....uggghhh!!!!!

My funny thing overheard at Coach happened last Friday. After taking a couple months to decide between the teal, med. or mini washed chambray Borough I finally decided to get the med. chambray. The SAs showed me the matching wallet and I asked if it was excluded from PCE like the Borough bags.
They assured me that it was like the rest of the Borough line but that it was a good thing because " it keeps it exclusive! "
I get home from the mall and check out TPF and of course see the news that you can now use PCE on (most) Boroughs!LOL So much for exclusivity I guess!
The SAs are incredibly sweet there and they really didn't know. I got a call on Sat. from one saying that corporate contacted them Friday night about the changes and to come in for a price adjustment.
If I want to know the latest I should always check here first!
They assured me that it was like the rest of the Borough line but that it was a good thing because " it keeps it exclusive! "
I get home from the mall and check out TPF and of course see the news that you can now use PCE on (most) Boroughs!LOL So much for exclusivity I guess!

I have told this story before but it is a classic (IMO) and I wanted to share it here.
I had stopped at a garage sale and headed straight over to a box of handbags on display. I picked up a large Coach sig bag and instantly knew that it was a fake, there was also a fake sig wristlet that matched the bag.
I put the bag down and was planning to leave without comment but at that moment the seller called over to me "That's a genuine Coach purse at a great price!" so I turned to her and said "No it's not, it's fake and so is this wristlet." She started to protest when I spotted another sig wristlet and held it up and said "And this wristlet is fake too and I'm pretty sure that this Burberry wallet is also a fake!"
The seller got very offended and said "Well, if they are fake - and I'm not saying that they are - then they are very good replicas!" I answered "No they're not, they are very bad fakes!"
At that point she was standing up and shouting and yelled "Well, nobody really wears genuine Coach bags anyway!" So I held up my paprika Katarina bag and said "You mean like this one?"
Then she said "That's not a Coach bag, shows how much you know! It doesn't even have any Cs on it!"
So I answered answered "Many genuine Coach bags do not have Cs on them, especially the really nice ones."
She started sputtering and trying to find something to say but I just turned and walked away patting my genuine pap kat bag!

I used to find Coach hideous because the ones I saw were the ugly fake signature bags that A LOT of people carry. I didn't know that those were fake so I just assumed Coach bags in general are ugly.
Then I found TPF and I realized how wrong I was!!
Anyway, I hate fakes because they give brands a bad rep
its funny how some people are about their bags.....my bestie LOOOOOVES her siggy bags and loves that you can tell its a COACH. me on the other hand ... i LOOOVE my legacy leather bags and thats fine by me.
one time at Dillards this snotty SA (which i always try to avoid b/c shes so rude and doesn't know crap about Coach) came up to me to compliment my bag....at that time i was carrying my Celery large Ashley bag. When i told her it was a Coach she was surprised! ... and at that moment i told her "yea...this is a Coach bag....its actually an OUTLET BAG....paid around $100 for it

My husband knows that i love my Coach bags and enjoy switching into different bags and he'll even ask me questions from time to time about it....one time he called out a FOACH at Kolhs when we were shopping. He had to go find me in the home dept. to let me know that he saw an ugly fake! LMFAO......then a couple weeks ago at WalMart i was checking out at the self check out and i guess he was checking out this ladies purse?? one the way to the car he said
HUBBS: "OMG you would of DIED if you saw this ladies Coach!!!

ME: "how did you know that it was real??"
HUBBS: "cuz you could tell it wasn't cheap....or if it was a knockoff then it was a really good one. The C's weren't crooked or looked like G's"
BAHAHAHAH he kills me with the Coach bags we see out in public!...........now its like a game when we go out

i had my "lady appt" last week....and at 26 you think i'd be comfortable with a doctor checking you out right? well....i just wanted to go in and out. i was carrying my mint duffle bag and as the nurse called me back to check my vitals she wouldn't stop complimenting my outfit and then she saw my bag and was like "OMG THAT BAG IS TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!! 
i sooo WANT THAT!!!" i giggled and said thank you...but kinda wanted her to be quite so i could get on with my day.....then i'm waiting in the room and i could hear the nurses in the hall way "hey so and so!! you HAVE to check out this patients bag!! its sooo gorgeous!! OMG DONT FORGET TO CHECK OUT HER BAG!! ITS AMAZING".....finally i was DONE and got all dressed and was finishing up my appt. and the doctor said "wow NOW thats a bag! WOW what a gorgeous color!!" ..................yea....that was the nosiest appt i've EVER HAD IN MY LIFE but it was so fun to have so many people ooooowing and awwwwwing over my mint duffle

Everyone has their favorites. My first bag was a sig Parker that I bought at the boutique. It was very beautiful but I soon learned that there are more options from Coach than just signature bags - TPF helped me to learn that!
I remember one time I was at the outlet and a young woman was looking at an MFF sig satchel. The SA tried to draw her attention to some beautiful FP delete leather satchels (Alexandra bags) that were being offered at a similar price, but the customer responded in dismay "But how will anyone know that it is a Coach if it doesn's have the Cs on it?!"
The SA quickly agreed with her and helped her to buy the MFF sig satchel of her dreams. And that is perfectly okay, it was a nice bag and everyone has their own tastes. It is lucky that Coach makes so many different bags to meet all those different needs.
But I couldn't help thinking that she could have had a much nicer and more special bag (IMO) for the same money, if only she was willing to look beyond the Cs!
I just remembered another entertaining exchange that I had in the long checkout line at the outlet.
One time I saw a woman with a whiskey legacy 65th anniversary Ali on her shoulder. I had never seen this bag before and I thought it was just the most beautiful bag in the store!
I complimented her on the gorgeous bag and she just shrugged and said that her husband had bought it for her. She didn't seem very enthusiastic about the bag but I understood why when I looked at the items she was buying - a mundane MFF khaki/brown signature bag and some other MFF items. Clearly her husband has the best taste in the family (IMO)!
But as I've said before, it's good thing Coach makes lots of different products to suit many different tastes!

I've never bought a MFF wristlet. There's a dot on the tag? Interesting to know.
One day I commented on a bag a lady was wearing. "Wow that's a gorgeous mini tanner!" "What?" "I said your tanner is beautiful!" "Oh! This? This is a Coach." "Oh... oh yeah, I mean to say your Coach is beautiful..."
