I like Anya Hindmarch bags. They are fun. The leather quality is good too. I used to have a wallet with a funny picture of a cat on it (thats the reason I bought it  ). I stuffed it so much with cards and receipts and notes but the stitching held up.
I might just have bought this Anya Hindmarch tote

I'm kind of tired of seeing the same handbags over and over again, like Chanel Classic Flap, Loewe Puzzle Bag, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, etc. What are some less known brands and handbag designs?

I'm a Polene stan, but I recently learned about Demellier London's handbags. The Vancouver and Manhattan are gorgeous! There's also Valextra and the Curated shoulder bag.

Similar to Valextra, Serapian is also heritage Italian luxury leather goods brand. I got a gorgeous backpack from them as a gift to my DH and also have a few SLGs that I use on daily basis.

I also think there are many luxury brands that are totally overlooked despite having great bag designs, I like Alaia, Lanvin, Jil Sander, Tod’s, Salvatore Ferragamo, Mulberry, Victoria Beckham, Marni, Maxmara…As for more affordable brands Furla, Mansur Gavriel, DKNY, Marc Jacobs offer great options.

When I think about Hermes/Chanel price tags, Moynat is a great alternative. And if I had enough money I would definitely go for Schiaparelli bags, they are so unique and art-inspired. I also like Gabriela Hearst’s bags from her own brand, she does awful bags for Chloe, but her own designs like Nina and Demi are cute. Speaking of weird shaped bags, I also like Boyy bags and they’re quite affordable.

Honestly, I think media brainwashed us into thinking that Hermes B and K and Chanel’s CF or some designs from LV are the ultimate holy grails to have, but I might have watched too many videos and photos of these all over social media, that for me these bags became quite ubiquitous, that I‘m not as excited about these as I used to be. Every other Youtuber has them in their collection, sometimes it feels like “copy+paste” without reflecting personal taste. I know these are quite expensive bags, so they’re not as ubiquitous as social media makes us believe, but still these brands look like “soft bets” for people to spend their money on a luxury bags knowing they might hold some resale value, rather than true reflection of one’s style.

Here are bags I really like and for now just admire from a far from the brands mentioned above, but can totally see myself having them in my collection, some of these are on my wishlist

I have been enjoying checking out various leather bags from different companies or individual artists such as Coastal Hillbilly, Meanwhile Back on the Farm, Go Forth Goods, KMM & Co. , Fount Leather, Portland Leather Goods and others . Do you have a favorite? If so please share.
