I don't understand why all of you are still talking about this stupid refund. It's over and done with. This situation is an exception considering that it happened to fall over 2 holidays. You MUST take that into consideration. I've worked with Linda as well for many years and come to find that all of my questions are always answered in a timely manner. If you would have bought this bag from any online department store (Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, etc.) would you expect a refund the DAY they receive it? Absolutely not! Ellie Mae completely blew this situation out of proportion and all of you that are jumping on her bandwagon are ridiculous.

Were still talking about it, simply because we can :D

Blowing something out of proportion is a subjective opinion, and Ellie felt 11 days was much to long to refund. She's entitled to feel that way. And I havent seen much bashing if any of the seller on here.

Just because we simpathize with the buyer that it took 11 days to get a refund doesnt automatically make us all ridiculous. But thank you for your opinion

Ellie Mae, I'm glad you got everything figured out and settled. Kind of off topic, but I noticed that Linda has links to twitter in her postings. Ebay told me that I wasn't allowed to do that. Does she get special privileges to do this as a super duper powerseller?

Hmmm. Someone needs anger management.:graucho:

11 days with no response is NOT acceptable, holidays or not.

simple math :D
In all fairness, 11 days IS too long to hold someone else's $ ransom. Stores don't do it and none of the sellers, even high volume sellers, I've dealt w/ do it.
If Sellers want people to be happy and come back and NOT discuss it on blogs, like this, then they need to take care of business.
NO ONE has bashed Linda in this thread, this is a discussion and there's opinions on both sides being respectfully communicated.

Hello....if you return something to a department store (as you mentioned) the refund is usually immediate upon receipt of item. I have never heard of anyone returning an item and then waiting for days, if not weeks for refund. In this case, Linda admitted issues and all was resolved, but no reason to be angry about it!

A thought , that if there is a contact # why not take advantage and

see what & why the delay.. the holidays should have been taken into

consideration and perhaps Linda should have posted a note on her

listing that they will be away over the holidays and there might be a delay

in processing a refund.

I think her explanation and apology was gracious and forthcoming

and if she does have description and cs issues, after these postings

would think she will address them all and do her best to improve.

Let's give her a chance and see what comes of all of this....

My, my, my.... I'm gone for a couple of hours and all heck breaks loose! :D

But since I blow everything all out of proportion, I think I'll just let ya'll take it from here!;)

LOL elle.

Actually what is think is sad is that the seller comes on and is so 'nice' of course to look good to everyone, but then signs up for another tPF name and is rude?? The nerve!
11 days without a response, I think I might have gone crazy. My response earlier just was asking if you were expecting more because she is an "ebay store". Now that I think about it though... it really doesnt make a difference, 11 days is rediculous, holidays or not. It only takes a few seconds to respond.. but then again, they were probably focusing their attention on $$ aka listing new items.
