They definitely think I'm crazy! I lie a little bit on prices too or tell them I got a really great deal. If they knew what I really spent they would commit me on the spot!

Most definitely. :\ My boyfriend's mom probably has a bad impression thinking I'm spoiled for spending significant amounts of money on handbags.
it depends on who i'm dealing with, really.
my best friend supports me 100% and loves my taste in bags/purses.. my other friends are not usually 50/50 on my acquisitions..
my dad will freak out if he knows the real price on my bags and my bf has been a sweetheart so far, supporting my addiction without complaint.~~

I live in overseas by myself after graduated. my family is okay as long as I have some savings. my mum is a tailor, she care about cutting and material and if a fashion piece can last you a while. She doesn't familiar with a lot of designer handbag but once I carried a Balenciaga handbag she did say that the leather is soft and the handbag is handy with many useful compartment/pockets. I am actually thinking of giving it to her when i go back since i don't use it much often now.
1 of My close friend carry designer handbag as well. we travel a lot so we are helping each other to compare the price in different currency. Another close friend addicted to shoes and she totally understand me.
My partner know that I like Chanel handbags. He used to think that it is ridiculous but then I tell him about TPF and he start understand that I am just a woman. Those I owned, I purchased with my own money.

This came up in a family gathering once because my niece bought an LV purse over 2 grand. I had to stay and listen to them so I can help her out...lol..Old school parents/family think its crazy to purchase a purse for that amount. I had to remind them when they used to purchase their Gucci's during their time and inflation....lol That stopped them but the men kept going on...sigh
Ugh, my parents don't approve AT ALL and yesterday I was really excited because I was with some classmates and we were talking about designer purses, for whatever reason and this girl and I were just going back and forth about them and then she's like yeah, I have three of them and I'm thinking to myself OMG I have like 30 in one brand and like 20+ in another plus a few other randoms. I just wanted to crawl in a hole because although she was very excited about her bags she, and all the others, treated me as though I was some sort of weirdo with so many bags! LOL! Oh well, that's why I have TPF!!!!!!!!!!
My friends and family think I am crazy. They fuss to spend $40.00 on a bag. But, we all have our own "thing".
i guess it all depends on your personal views about money though cause i am 14 too and i am obsessed with bags. haha if i could buy an lv and two rms right now i totally would! and then some of my friends my age think i am nuts!

All my purchases are covert operations :ninja: - I never carry any flashy bags around my family, and they never ask...I think as long as I'm responsible with my money they won't ever say anything. My BF actually doesn't mind the purse habit - if anything he has worse spending habits than I do so he has to go along with mine 
I'm a little older than you 2, 19. But, I started collecting at 14 too! It all started with Coach and I've worked my way up but I mostly buy vintage. So Good for you - atleast I think so
My Mom&Stepdad - don't care, they know what I spend and it's never much. I got an authentic Chanel for 175... the lady wasn't sure if it was authentic but I knew
Sister- ehh....she spends money on other stuff but she always loves my great finds and tends to steal my bags. She works at Coach so she always gets me gifts.
Brother - supports his girl so he supports me!
Boyfriend- LOVES IT because I buy him nice things too. He picked out a Coach purse for me for my Birthday and got a few other Coach things. If he finds stuff on sale he'll usually buy it for me
Good thing he knows all this now cause soon he should be "the one" 
Friends - my roommates think I'm nuts. But, one spends TONS of money and crap forever21 stuff, which I refuse to do.

My father thinks its insane, yet continues to indulge my habit. My mother, and aunt are just as obsessed with handbags as I am. They are the reason, I'm obsessed! My friends like handbags but, aren't as crazy as me, so they just roll their eyes, when I get a new goodie...
