I finally got my Latte Velo from Cannes yesterday. Personally I love it but I think it's quite a difficult color and you have to see it IRL before you order it. To me it has some green/khaki undertones and not much of a rich and creamy beige I'd expected from just the name "latte". IMO it's more like a mix between camel and papyrus. It's not a warm color ( like p.e. seigle was )
Here is Latte with Papyrus...( on my screen color is quite close to RL )

and here with two of my other velos as well ( Praline and Corde ( Suede, on the floor ), which is pretty similar to Seigle...)

Lovely new latte velo, love your whole collection :-)

Here's my Hip in Mangue with some other stuff I got in the mail yesterday. The leather's quite thin and dry, guess cuz I'm used to the goat leather form Balenciaga. I probably need to treat it to get it well conditioned and shiny. The colour in the pic is quite true to life but then it might be my monitor.

How are you planning to treat it? I'm hoping to get a city in Mangue and want to be prepared when I do (as in, pre-order the gel/spray/whatever.)

I saw Mangue in the store... I didn't like the leather. It looks like the colour just sits on top of the leather instead of sinking into it. I don't know if anyone knows what I mean. It was almost like paint. Previous example I can think of was Nacre.

The colour saturation was awesome and bold and rich... but just seems to sit on the leather.

Lagoon is an amazing vibrant hue. I saw it today in-store as a City with mini GSH. It was To. Die. For. Period. Great leather that was distressed to within an inch of its life, and the colour wasn't sitting on the top of the leather, like the few Gris Tarmac and Mangue that I'd seen: it looked like the old colours that look truly vegetable dyed.

Lagoon is nothing like the colour on the swatch. It is a bright, clear, deep turquoise/bright teal... the kind of colour you expect to see in velvet or suede textures, or on silk saris - it is THAT intense... or when you look through a glass that has tealy/turquoise food coloring in it, and the light is shining through the glass at the same time. Looking at Lagoon as like looking at a piece of stained glass with the light coming through it.

Lagoon won't go with a single thing in my wardrobe, but I think that is the beauty of it - it is SUCH an "out there" colour. Really, really, beautiful shade of peacock blue-green, which makes me think of holidays on pure, untouched islands.

I certainly didn't expect to fall in love with it as I did.

I know exactly what you mean by the color being "painted" on. I've seen a few Bals like this lately. I really wanted something in Mangue but now need to rethink.....Thanks for the heads up!

Here's a pic of Latte that I received from my SA. It looks a little greenish to me. I questioned the green tint so she took pics of Latte with Militaire and Praline. Maybe this will be helpful. I would have gone with Latte if I didn't already own a Militaire Work.

Awesome description! I am waiting on peektures of Lagon from my SA! Would you say it is more green or blue? I am hoping it is more green... So far the ones I have seen online look to be more teal-blue than teal-green.
