Yoogi's is a better choice. I will never sell to BBOS after they offered me $900 for a $4300 like new handbag..

I have sold to both places. But my worst experience has been with Yoogi's closet, so really I think there all the same. I sent in my third bag, to be sold to Yoogi. It was authenticated successfully and they offered me 175. A low ball, but I took it since I need the money to make new purchases. Then two weeks later they write me to say they no longer want to buy the bag after 3 1/2 weeks. So......I think it depends on who is auth. your bag, and what they decide to over. I do prefer BBOS because of the prepaid ship label and their fast communication.

Hi. I used Avelle once before to sell a Chanel WOC. The only way they would purchase it was with a receipt from the store, the tags, all the Chanel paper work and the box with felt. I seldom keep those things, but for some reason did with this bag. I tried to sell another bag-a new bag straight from Neiman Marcus. This one I had everything except the original receipt. After sending over 10 different photos to Avelle, they accepted and sent a quote. Once they received the bag they told me they needed the original receipt or they wouldn't buy the bag. No where on the site does it say purchases with original receipt only. I inquired about this and they said the bag wasn't real. I recently went back to the store and spoke to the SA that I always use. She was in shock. I don't think she ever heard of a company accusing NM of selling fakes. I showed her the pics I had sent Avelle as well as their emails. She remembers the bag that I had bought since it was a special item and called me the day it came in. Of course it's my fault for misplacing the receipt and I'm trying to see if I can get a copy of it from the store.

I just wanted to warn everyone that Avelle's authenticators do not know Chanel bags. A while back I was going to sell the bag and had Carol Diva authenticate it because I didn't have the receipt. She said it was authentic. That and knowing that I walked straight in to Neiman Marcus and bought it pretty much proves to me that this bag was genuine.

Avelle can't authenticate anything to save their lives. Yes, they do need to say that the original receipt is required to save us all the hassle of sending things in only to be declined. I'm definitely not using them anymore since they are too screwed up now.

Shoebuyer37-I just saw your post above. They did EXACTLY the same thing to me. Avelle really needs to state on their site that they will only purchase bags with an original receipt.

Yes...I try and save receipts...but who keeps one for THAT long??? Note to self-keep receipts with all tags, dustbags, boxes, etc.

Just wanted to follow up on this thread. The bag came and its beautiful in almost new condition as stated. It smells clean and the inside is very nice. I wouldnt know if it was a fake as I havent seen this bag before except on websites. It seems to be made very nicely though (in China) but that seems like where they are made. I am very happy with the condition.

I bought one Bulga, Treesje, Gustto, Michael Kors and Isabella Fiore from them. I never buy used, so all of them were brand new. They were perfect. The funniest thing is that Gustto bags brand new were much much cheaper than Gustto bags used!
I could not and still can not understand why used bag should be more expensive then the new one.

I dont know if this is the right place for this question, sorry in advance if its not.

I have a purse that I am considering selling to BBOS, but their offer is 1/4 of what this purse is. purse is NWT, but from 2008.

Is there room for negotiation with them?

Is there another site I can maybe well other then ebay?

thanks for your help!

This has been answered a lot (but not necessarily about BBOS). Bonanza is a place.. much less traffic but no listing fee and way smaller fvf.

There are also a lot of online consignments.. just do a search in this forum (fashiophile, yoogi's closet, etc).

I never shop on BBOS because I find their prices are more expensive than others for used bags.

I just tried Avelle and they responded to me within hours but just briefly to let me know they do not buy from Europeans? Hmm, that is a bit weird, no? I mean just because I live in Europe it does not mean there are no legitimate designer boutiques here, that was odd but I have also written Yoogi's and will see what they say.

They gave me ridiculously low offers for my limited edition LV and YSL muse (both in excellent condition). I'd rather keep my bags than practically give it to them it to them for free at 80% below retail. I'm not desperate.
