Experiences with SELLING to Bag Borrow or Steal

I have a few things lying around and may try to pursue them through BBOS. Just can't deal with ebay. I was sweating bullets with one transaction last year. Ebay just makes me too nervous to bother anymore.

I'm with you! Ebay and auction sites in general make me sweat bullets as the seller and often as a buyer too. I can almost see myself pacing back and forth in my room until the transaction was complete and I did not hear again from the buyer for days, lol.

However, out of all the 11 purchases or so that I made on Ebay, every single one of them were extremely smooth. I have not sold a single thing on Ebay though because I'm way too nervous. I think I'll do that with my inexpensive or low mid-range bags instead!

Just wondering... does anyone know why BBOS would give you a quote (after seeing pictures) and then decline once it is "inspected". I only buy authentic bags (from boutiques/department stores) and they have declined two of my bags. I don't understand. They are in mint condition. I would think that if it was an older style they were not interested in they would be able to tell from the pictures and not give you a false hope of purchasing. When they have declined they say they can not elaborate on why, but something failed inspection... what does that mean???? Please help!!

I had this same thing happen to me. One was a NWT current Chanel, the other a mint current Dior - both were declined. I'm totally curious as to why. Yoogi's offer for the same items were too low - less than 50% retail. Also, I wonder if once an item is declined, could we try to submit it again since many here have said that different individuals do the quoting.

If the item is declined, I would try again. With the more high end brands, I'm guessing it must be because they aren't 100% sure about authenticity or that the cards & receipts needed to support authenticity were not available.

I can see why they want to protect themselves- but maybe they need a better expert. I submitted one chanel bag that didn't have authenticity card- but everyone knows that doesn't mean it is fake. I just think it is lame they don't give you reason. I can always provide receipt!
