I know it can be confusing with different leathers called similar names, but this thread is for Barenia Faubourg only.

For the original (smooth) Barenia please post here:

Water!! Pour some water over it, or if you prefer, DAB with wet cloth. Let dry, repeat. After a number of times, if there is any staining left, sprinkle some baking powder on the drip- leave for a few hours or overnight. Repeat. It's amazing what water etc will do on Barenia and BF. It will be significantly better ( plus anything left will blend over time)
I'm so sorry this happened- sending good thoughts

Hello everyone! Any suggestion?! I accidentally spilled my coffee on my K25 BF and it looks like this now!!!!! Does anyone know what to do about it?????:sad::sad::sad: I am so sad!!!!
Someone holding a coffee bumped me and spilled their coffee on the front of my BF bag. I ran to the restroom and blotted with paper towels. Then I took damp paper towels and continued blotting gently. I did not rub it. Then when it was damp, I had blotted a lot, I put it gently under the hand dryers in the bathroom. There are a lot of oils in BF. I was careful not to get it hot, just slowly warmed. I kept blotting with paper towels. The coffee disappeared. That is what worked for me. I was out of town but if I had been at home I think I would have taken it to my local Hermes and asked them for help. I think I was lucky. But water, paper towels and some dry warm air helped my bag recover. Good luck!

Yes to water! On the dabbing, do not press down with any cloth or towel, it will flatten the grain. You are best to pour water on it and dab off gently with an absorbent towel without pressing or rubbing the grain.

Thank you for your suggestion!!! I did try it last night it helped a bit....T_T But now it looks like it does not dry yet. Maybe I need to do more..and will try to use cool air to dry it out...Hope it will work T_T

Thank you very much

Again, lots of water- you can repeat multiple times. Don’t rub the leather, as TeeCee77 noted. If you still feel there is a significant stain, apply the baking soda to the stain (just sprinkle over it) and let it sit overnight. It will be fine.

Delighted to add my new B30 in Barenia Faubourg Fauve to this thread! This was such a wonderful surprise - offered in the FSH store during my birthday trip to Paris

Thank you to everyone sharing info here as I was originally hoping for a Gold Togo as my next bag but added BFF to the list after reading through this thread and seeing all your beautiful bags. Can’t wait to see how the colour and patina develops, and in the meantime it looks like I will need to purchase my first set of twillys to protect the handles!
