I want to make a request to get this leather in a B30, but not sure if this leather will slouch easily. Owners please help

BF is not structured like Epsom but I find it a bit thicker than togo. My 35 has not slouched at all yet. It is almost 2 years old.

I got my BF 35 birkin 2 years ago —my fault is that its been sitting in its box a lot of that time as I didn’t rotate my bags as I should have.
I did have airbags inside, and it was in its dust bag and lying down. I took my bags out to air yesterday and I noticed that the front shape has altered, the back is perfectly straight. The upper part in front near the handles seems to have caved in where it was not supported by the airbags. I’m a little worried and I did read the other posts with putting pillows and towels ....
1. Can it be fixed with pillows and towels?
2. There are so many pillows now available, ranging in all kind of price range. Are they all the same? Do you have to get cotton etc or can satin and other synthetic fibers also work?
Please help!!

Dang!! Can you share a picture? I bet you can fix it. I like the bag hunter pillows. go check out the “keep the shape of your bag” thread—i did a little tutorial there. i bet if you stuff it more it will also straighten out. Good luck!

I do not know how/when this happened, one side on the bag somehow dented in. I only saw the dent when I was back home. It could be already been there when my SA showed me the bag but I might have been too excited to even check the bag properly back then. However, once I put in MaiTai B30 insert, the shape came back immediately. So advise to put bag pillow when storing. For me, I do not store my bags back into boxes. I keep them upright with bag inserts in them to keep them in shape.

Wow! Thats exactly how the upper front of my bag looks!! It’s most probably the leather then.

I use the inserts that are from Hermes, are those not enough? Also as mine is closer to where the front lock is the insert won’t get up that high..?

Hmm MaiTai’s bag insert is up to just slightly below the lock. See the attached picture. MaiTai’s insert will be approximately up to the white line. I guess you need bag pillow for your case.

I use pillows by the seller @pursepillows on eBay. They have worked well for me in Birkins.

Hi PF! Does anyone know if you can SO barenia (either smooth or Faubourg)? My SA was telling me the barenia leather (smooth) is not is high quantity as the leather pieces are not Hermes standard of perfection. Therefore, SLG and smaller items are being produced currently. I would love a smooth barenia birkin or kelly or even constance.
