I know it can be confusing with different leathers called similar names, but this thread is for Barenia Faubourg only.

I got this exact bag in BF in the 29 about a month ago and in a bright light if held at an angle I can see the “veining” I think u r referring to. If it really bothers u then maybe u could discuss it with your SA and see what she says?

Only the uneven colouring is bothering me. I have a taurillon clemence Lindy and a Bolide in Epsom but never experienced the uneven colouring. Is this one of the characteristics of BF leather?

Oh... and I have stained my bag when I took it out for the photo! I forgot I put hand cream on

Congrats on your 24/24.
Hard to tell from your photo re: "uneven coloring"
I have a bf B, no uneven colouring, so I would not expect it on the 24/24

At the same time I was offered by B35 BF I was also shown a B30 that had way more veins and I think what you are referring to as the uneven coloring. It was just lighter and darker areas around the veining. I found it stunningly beautiful, but wanted the 35 size. That’s the only coloring I can think of you might be noticing. Hope you enjoy your lovely bag!

Oh yes!! It’s sort of uneven but I reckon it is just one of the characteristics of the leather. Anyway, each should be different and have natural markings, right? Will definitely take her out once I found her a nice twilly.
