I know it can be confusing with different leathers called similar names, but this thread is for Barenia Faubourg only.

When applying, I don’t fold the fabric wipe and wipe. That’s just too many layers of wet, solution saturated material. I simply opened it flat and used the corner of the wipe to clean the edge. It’s just the right amount of wetness.

Good to know. Thanks for sharing! My corners have gotten a little dark from denim transfer so I will try Lexol wipes. It’s not super noticeable but I would like to clean it so it does not become permanent.
Every time I carry BF with me to H, the SM swoops in and takes a sniff of BF and always says what a rich oily leather BF is...its adorable! then I show him how I love to buff out the scratches with my finger. :P

Thank you all!!! This was such an incredibly helpful thread. I LOVE smooth barenia but was unsure about BF as it reminded me of Gold togo which I was never into. However, after reading this thread, I took the plunge and am so glad I did. Smooth barenia will always have my heart (as will box calf) but BF is a wonderful in its own way!

I found the club! Just dressed her up this morning. Picked these Leopards twillies because I have many clothes in blue, they blend in well with my wardrobes. Folklore twillies in rose color also are a very nice match, very summery. I had a hard time to choose at the store. In the end, SS made the call since she knows my love of blue and cats. I got this bag last week. I'm so happy and so satisfied with the leather, especially love the GHW and barenia combination! I think Hermes did very well with this new barenia. It's a nice fusion of heritage and modern. Can't get enough of the touch and the smell, yum!
