@Betz Sorry to hear Dear! Ditto to @TeeCee77 comment. I would check with docride and your SA at H.
It could be leather spew, which is caused when fatty acids seep from the leather.
http://lttleathercare.com/2016/04/02/spew-on-leather/ Let us know on this thread what the outcome is. BFaubourg is a newer process to H and it could be that the newer rounds might have had a hiccup
In the tanning process. Don’t despair, it can be treated  and thanks for posting to this thread!

Thank you, will visti the H boutiqie anytime soon [emoji5]

OMGGGGGG this leather is magicccccc!!!!

Today was the first day I took her out and I got sweet tea droplets ON THE FRONT OF HER.

I dabbed it off (unfortunately it had dried down before I saw it) and did the baby powder thing, but thisone pin head sized dot was visible under certain lighting.

I bit my lip and dabbed a qTip soaked with water onto it and I watched that wet spot LITERALLY DISAPPEAR before my eyes. You can see the circumference of the wet spot physically shrinking! This was the first pass and the tea stain went away about 90%.

I did a second dab AND filmed it this time
because I’ve never seen anything like it. Same deal...fully wet qTip onto the remaining tea stain. As the wet spot was shrinking I fanned it with a notepad and you see the circumference of the wet spot shrinking...smaller and smaller. In the end, it entire tea stain went away! It took 1 minute and 50 seconds. My husband was even impressed by how the leather handled water.

There wasn’t no discoloration, nothing. Completely unmarked. WOW!

I forgot to say, I had the ba**s to try a dab of water because a bigger and even darker tea droplet fell on the clochette.

I did a test clean on the clochette first and it miraculously disappeared liked it was never there. Howecer, cleaning the front of the bag was much more scarier tho!

Good job! So glad to hear you removed it successfully. BF is amazing.

Thank you!!! What size pico were you offered?
Honestly, I did not pay attention to it, when I saw it was a bucket bag, I discounted it and told my SA that I had just had an incident at the theatre where my gucci bucket bag fell on its side and everything fell out in the dark. It was either PM or MM. Now I might have a different opinion on buying it ?! Oh well....it was earlier in the year. But then she made up for it with a Tade B in June and my Barenia B in Sept!

Can you all do me a little favor and take a look behind your Birkin handles and tell me if you see any dye spots? They are not noticable when the handles are in their natural position but when I pull them back this is what i just noticed. It doesn't rub out and it isn't offensive to me..just wondering if anyone else has the same marks. They are on only behind the handles on one side, the back side .IMG_20181014_184214418.jpg IMG_20181014_184210043.jpg IMG_20181014_184157172.jpg

Hmmmm I checked mine. Mine has some slight indentations from the handles - my other bags do not have anything - but no discoloration or dye spots. Is the coloring from the wax rubbing off or is it patina forming from contact? Do you live in a humid climate? Stumped. IMG_3329.jpg

It’s magic! Thanks for sharing your experience with taking her out for the first time. I’m sure you cringed when you got tea on her, but its a forgiving leather

Mine are clean as a whistle, no dye spots/spots behind the handles. However, In looking for these, I did notice some grease fingerprints on the front flap, freaked out and I immediately removed/rubbed in with a microfiber cloth. Since it is nighttime, its too hard to tell how well they rubbed in, but now I know not to touch my face/hair and then touch my bag...

Small dark spot on one side of front handle only for me!

Anyone notice their bag getting shinier with use? I purposefully wear mine to rub along on my clothes in order to develop the patina!

Mine had a little!!! I do carry mine close to my body unless I have blue jeans on. Mine has a bit of a sheen or reflectivity to it. [emoji173]️[emoji173]️
