I know it can be confusing with different leathers called similar names, but this thread is for Barenia Faubourg only.

I ask this question in another thread pertaining to Birkin BF it arrived today. here's my simple question for anyone who has purchased a Birkin directly from Hermes, on the outside of the orange Box, do any of you see a white and black label that identifies the Birkin bag as bf, a long model number, a barcode and a scan?

H started putting bar code sticker labels on the outside of orange boxes for bags and small leather goods. The sticker label is pretty easy to remove without damaging the box and my SA just uses her fingernail to peel it off for clients who don’t like the look of a bar code sticker on their orange boxes.

Mine is missing and when I called the store they were very clear and that their policy is to remove all labels from the orange boxes. I personally want the label.

Two of my boxes have stickers and one does not. I can’t remember, but I think I remember my SA taking it off the plastic and placing it on the box? Does that sound familiar to anyone?

Same here. My store’s policy is to remove the label on handbag purchases. They did it on both my bags but they let me keep the tags for my silks. My dear H called because he was wondering why the tag was missing (we had a tag for a vert fonce Kelly and not my B) and the SA told him that’s the policy.

Thanks! Surprising how very different the BF leather is compared to Togo. I will show you a pic of them both side by side. The black is a b35 Togo noir, two weeks old, the B35 bf is 1 day old purchased directly from H, both 2018. The BF has a considerable amount of slouch already even with a 7rp insert in her and the leather is much softer, almost pliable.I will probably get another insert just for the BF and store her in it as well so she does not get too floppy. Doesn't she look smaller then the Noir?? FYI, when she arrived, I immediately noticed some light surface marks where my darling SA tied the twillies on for me, I took my microfiber towel and gently rubbed they away. Poof! Gone. I can tell, this is very prone to scratches. My ASD dog is NEVER going to meet her, he would think it was a rawhide chew toy! BF smells divine to me, like a fancy barn or an expensive saddle.

It’s beautiful! What a lovely rich color yours had! And the twillies are perfect - I’m a little biased since we are twins [emoji6] I love your noir B also! I think I’m adding noir to my list! Also glad to hear the scratches rubbed out!

The smell! Wow! It’s like going into a fine leather shop. I’ve never smelled anything like it from a single handbag.

The feel of the leather is also different! Soft surface, yet firm body. Gliding fingertips across feels like almost velvety.

I’m almost scared to use it in fear that my watch or love bracelet will scratch it! LOL I need to get over it!

This is the kind of bag that will totally give that effortless cool girl chic over time. It’s just so different than the Togo birkins and Clemence I’ve seen. It’s just such a cool vibe! (This coming from a person who probably won’t be buying multiple Bs LOL!)

It feels so different and special!

I couldn't have said it better myself and I am so happy that you love it. Are you getting an insert for it? I just ordered a 2nd one from 7RP. I am tempted to take the twillys off, not wild about them on the bag but don't have another way to protect the handles from my hand oils or sweat. A pic would be nice when you have time. Congrats on your remarkable bag, I am excited for you too!
