I know it can be confusing with different leathers called similar names, but this thread is for Barenia Faubourg only.

This advice is SO SO right. There is plenty of evidence on here to show that if you reject an offer you still get others.

I'm sure the word 'perishable' got lost in translation. All leather is perishable and will degrade, rot, crack, crumble, turn to dust if neglected. Standard barenia has a reputation ageing well and being hard wearing. The advice is a safeguard not to abuse BF with unrealistic expectations.

DH and I went to visit H yesterday after I dropped my car off for service. He told me “we can look, but you can’t buy anything.” I tried on a few silks, and my SA said that BF35 was still there and she brought it out for us to see. Sweet DH is having it shipped for me to arrive later this week. :yahoo: He said that he had never seen me talk so much or be as obsessed with Barenia.:heart::loveeyes: Then we talked about a special order. After the SO, it will complete my H journey for handbags, and I am so excited to not only be a part of the BF club, but of the heritage leather club with BF and tadekaldt (Whose sheen is absolutely gorgeous).:girlsigh: I’ve posted a pic of BF earlier in this thread when I decline it but I will post another once it arrives :heart:.

Hmm I think baby wipes are a no-no. I had a little mishap and our lovely Docride and my SA said try water only. I ended up buying some of docrides wipes for future incidents, but I didn’t have any on hand. I would message docride and give the details of what the stain was. Honestly depending on how bad, I wouldn’t do anything. My stain was almost completely absorbed after a couple days.

OMG! I know! I am so excited to carry it on a weekend trip to the mountains! I’m excited to match it with a black outfit. I think its going to very quite versatile and will become my loved Everday workhorse and my sweet tadelakt will be my fancy weekend carryall. What was funny, was two ladies at the store were dying to have it when they brought her out for me again. People get so weird when the big orange box comes out and I wish people would be discreet when you are considering a purchase, it affects the magical moment when it is unboxed. That aside, I’m looking forward to contributing to this thread in the years to come as the patina develops. My heart is full :heart: I’ll post pics when she arrives at home.
