I know it can be confusing with different leathers called similar names, but this thread is for Barenia Faubourg only.

Serrrriously! The smell! Definitely stuck my head in there and took a long drag after reading about it in this thread. Hahaha.

The Clubhouse is not just for odes it's for people who share very specific items or tastes. I'm not happy with BF being lumped into the original Barenia in the Clubhouse, as beyond sharing the same name (nice marketing trick by H) the leathers are quite different (as you say we have no idea how it ages).

In September this thread will be moved to the Clubhouse as that is it's natural place (and the original ode to Barenia thread can go back to staring the leather it was intended for) everyone my carry on enjoying discussing BF's properties.

I agree with this. Marketing trick describes this exactly, and frankly I find it pretty annoying. It should not be in the same thread as traditional Barenia.

I think some clarifications are in order. Is the recommendation to create an Ode to Barenia Fauborg leather thread and move it under Clubhouse? Then yes, I believe that makes sense long term. I also have a newly purchased BF m8ni roulis that I see the point i keeping this going longer for at least another six months or so, as people do need to reference it for care, tips, or helpful feedback. I don’t mind where it is now and I also don’t mind it being placed into Clubhouse either. I usually glance at the threads on the first page first before going to Clubhouse when researching if that helps. Thanks everyone, and the mods and OG’s for all their helpful suggestions!
