Is it bad to leave the bag alone or should we be trying to have these oils reabsorbed?

Either or should be fine is what I learned after some consultation and research.

It's not going to hurt the bag to have a bit of build-up, but the blow dryer treatment is ideal as it both removes the "bloom" and gives the bag some extra conditioning.

Hi everyone!

I need your expertise I have a very beautiful H 24/24, in barenia.
What is the bestcare for this leather? There is a pen mark inside and a small mark on the outside..
I love everything about the leather and the patina it evolves over time. But I still want to care for it in the best way

How do you find it? I have one on the way but am worried that this leather is no good with water, which I think would restrict me using it too much.

Phew that’s a relief as everything I had read says smooth Barenia was fine but BF should never meet water

Well, here's an example of being drenched and then about 10 minutes later. Another 5-10 and its pristine. But note, as it ages and gets wet/used/exposed to sun etc., it does develop its patina and the color changes- and not uniformly initially. That's Barenia (and BF)
