^yeah I'd rather have a handful of quality lifetime bags that I love than 15 or so (I currently own 13 high end bags) that are sitting in my closet and are only marginaly loved...
Yay Graciella and Tillie! I think it's fabulous to have H bags that will be carried - and have space in the closet.
I know I've read about you wanting this Bolide for ages! You are past the waiting period for knowing what you want and not want! I think it's better to have fewer bags you love rather than many that are just eh.

well it was a slow time coming but yesterday turned out to be a very good purge and buy day. I found the red bbag I've been searching for at a great price! so I went ahead and purchased it. then later on that day someone finally gave me a very good offer on a bag I've had on the "B" for over 3 months. It's red as well. so I sold the red that didn't work for me and got the red bag that does! I'm so happy! I almost pulled the bag and was going to list on ebay just to get it out of here. So those of you that are listing stuff on "B", don't give up hope, it just takes a while sometimes. but less hassle in the end. 3 down, 2 to go!
I know, when I read some of my old posts here on tpf, they're always about that Bolide! I think July is the time to order (?), but I'll visit the boutique to inquire about it. I can't wait!

I've entertained getting a preloved Birkin...but then I got bit by the bbag bug and found 3 City colors in excellent condition that I love love love...so that's where my purge money went and then some. I have a collection similar to yours...mostly high end now, with BEs here are there...and some can go towards the pre-loved Birkin fund!
I own a vintage courchevel Bolide 37cm that is very luxe! It's not the optimal color...it's a basic brown...but I love its simplicity and lack of logo, bling, or anything that brings attention to it. I think you will breathe a breath of fresh air when you get your Fjord Bolide. Are you getting it at a boutique instead of pre-loved (I am reading your post above and remember you saying pre-loved...)...

it's hard to compare the two. I am a bal gal so to me they are much more useable on a daily basis, but that's me. I just got a sanguine city, but I would love a pourpre too! I wouldn't give up that bag!
What kind of Chanel? What need will your new bag fulfill? I own both so maybe I can be of help.
I'm in the process of cleaning out and purging, selling what I don't love or use. I mean why let it sit there when someone else might just love it every day? I am a bit torn but find I do better with shoulder bags than hand held bags. The only hand held bag I want to keep is my YSL blue croc Muse II. My perfect bag for now seems to be my Bal. coral day. I just love the lightness of the bag and it is the perfect size for me. I am kind of sick of heavy bags or bags I seem to fill up with junk to make heavy. I am keeping my LV small denim pleaty in green and would love to get another LV denim bag but think they are too money for used bags and I am pretty picky about my bags. I have a few LV's to sell and I don't think I really will miss most of them. I just find now at this point in my life I really don't need a lot of stuff and would just like to love what I have.

I want a GST Beige Clair and a classic flap. I also own a sorbet, lilac LE, and black city all of which were purchased last year. I have fair skin and DH thinks the poupre looks "hard" on me - more so than my other 3.
Did YOU Get the Sanguine City that was up for that killer price on the B yesterday???

I thought I was purged...but I purged one more..(I don't have alot anyway..) but I have sold one grey bag..loved it btw.....because eventually I want to purchase the only grey I'll have and think I'lllove~love it
...Bal Anthra City...I think I really like things narrowed down they way they've been coming along..more use..more manageable..and I enjoy them more because I'm not spreading the love so thin...
Get something Anthra. I just got an Anthra Day (RH) and I have yet to post pics (I am waiting for another bag to arrive tomorrow). But knowing your taste you will LOVE the color..it is beautiful, and very unique yet wearable.
It is my only gray bag as well (gray is one of my all-time faves) and I don't feel the need to have another one, to be honest.
