i've not yet mastered the art of taking pictures of bags, but i'm hoping to take a better one tomorrow with my other acquisition, while the sun is still out.

in the meantime, here's a crappy indoor with flash picture of my new lovely, a bottega veneta large nero veneta <3

YIPPEE SKIPPEE!!! how cool! I saw that bag, looked gorgeous! is it coming from overseas? I didn't know you had a CP in this color. I really have no idea what it's going to look like IRL. every pic I see of this color looks different, but I'm hoping it's a muted red. I saw a pic of Simon Cowell's girlfriend with it and fell in love with it. here's the link:

It should be here tomorrow at noon! what did you get today? and what does your collection consist of now? Do you have more in mind or are you at your comfort level? I could do with one more day, would like to get it in GH since all my bags are rh. But I'm also quite happy with the few purges and I feel like i can get along with the rest of the bunch without having to purge any more. I've got 2 more on the "B" but they won't fetch much, I might give them to a couple of friends if they don't sell. this has been a great thread is many ways! thanks girlfriend!:ghi5:

Oh my, this is gorgeous. It's amazing how the Veneta still makes my heart flutter every time I see her.

Hi Everyone!

So nice to see that this thread still has some momentum and helping people figure out what works for them. I been gone for awhile but am glad to be checking back in. I have been scaling back some and am happy to report I have sold some bags that were gorgeous but just not working with my lifestyle. I also just really love having a few key bags I love and use all the time so keeping numbers small is a priority for me. I also think we sometimes buy because of other things going on in life, so when we slow down and get mindful, we're more likely to 1)make a sound purchasing decision and 2) identify what the real issue is so we can deal with it.

Thedseer--LOVE LOVE that BV! They really make some of the most beautiful bags! Enjoying the updates from all the ladies in this thread.

That Bottega is beautiful! I'm a sucker for simplicity :drool:

Where would one attempt to purchase a Cartier? Besides ebay, I wonder where else? Since I don't think it's sold in the usual retail stores besides Cartier stores... I know it's a popular brand in Europe and the Far East but not so much here...
