yes, it was me!:blushing: I couldn't believe it when I saw that price. I've been trying to figure out what red I could wear that wasn't too red. The sanguine seemed to fit the bill, but I never saw one come up in a price I was willing to pay. If there's one thing I've learned from this thread is do your homework! I should have it in a day or two. I'm really curious to see what the actual color is. Every pic I see looks different. Was it you that had asked her to hold it? She said that someone wanted her to hold it, but when I saw it, it wasn't on hold and I thought I'd better buy it cause it wouldn't stick around much longer. If it was, I'm sorry!:shucks: What red are you waiting for?

mayajuliana it was a MJ pomegranate venetia that I sold, and a sanguine city that I bought.

Everyone’s doing so well! I sold another bag last week, and have 2 offers on another (does anyone have any experience/recommendations for shipping to Asia?), so selling has picked up which is good. I still have some more to sell, most of which are not listed, so I need to get on that.

Love all this Bal talk! - I’ve been flirting with the idea of a Bal for a while now, and have been doing a lot more research recently. Would love to find a velo in black, anthra, or sang, or might go for a city.

And I’ve been slightly “bad” recently – after my BV purchase, I bought another bag, which I decided immediately upon receipt wouldn’t work for me, and then I purchased a beautiful and very htf bag from a lovely tpfer – maybe not the best thing to do when I’m supposed to be purging, but I’m so thrilled to have found it! I’ll post pics of that and my BV tonight (I’ve been really slow with the reveal, but work has been insane).

In addition to moving myself this summer, my parents are now somewhat spur of the moment selling their house and moving in the next 2-3 months. In theory, I shouldn’t have too much stuff at their house anymore since I haven’t lived there for 6 years, but it does mean that I have to be more aggressive about getting rid of everything and anything, since I’ll now have to take some things that they’ve been storing for me and move them to my next place. So I’m going to try to aim for even less bags, if I can. Moving is such a pain.

And..I was just thinking of your BV purchase..again:flowers:...and dying to see what you got!
Moving has to be at the top of the list of things that suck..I agree...but hope things go well and you don't have too much that you have to deal with.
I think know what you got for your other bag?:graucho:..but not 100% sure...hmmm..

I've entertained getting a preloved Birkin...but then I got bit by the bbag bug and found 3 City colors in excellent condition that I love love love...so that's where my purge money went and then some. I have a collection similar to yours...mostly high end now, with BEs here are there...and some can go towards the pre-loved Birkin fund!

I own a vintage courchevel Bolide 37cm that is very luxe! It's not the optimal color...it's a basic brown...but I love its simplicity and lack of logo, bling, or anything that brings attention to it. I think you will breathe a breath of fresh air when you get your Fjord Bolide. Are you getting it at a boutique instead of pre-loved (I am reading your post above and remember you saying pre-loved...)...

I'm still debating between the preloved one (not Fjord, and ghw instead of palladium) and a new one - the price difference is major, so I'm not sure yet. I guess that's not really an issue when you're looking for a preloved Birkin - they are equally expensive, no?

Nope, I didn't put it on hold...I was still thinking it over in terms of my finances...but I did the math and realized that I could afford it...so I made an offer to the seller of a Sanguine City that just ended on ickbay and I will have a Sanguine RH City in my grubby little hands soon, too!

I love the color - I didn't "get" it at all at first - but then I got a CP and fell in lurve. :love:

It is a beautiful shade. Congrats, bag twin!!! :yahoo:

I am so glad that we were both able to get one!!!

It's an 08. Anthra has been a long for a while...and it is soooo pretty. You will def like it!

I missed my UPS delivery today but am pasting my rear next to the front door tomorrow morning, rise or shine. :p

Does the shade change some with different years..like with black ..there are some with a greenish hue..etc.? I wasn't sure if the 2010 is different from 08 or 09.:smile1:
I hope you don't mind that I live through your Bal's for awhile..while I save..:flowers::p

The price difference is not as big with the pre-loved Birkins as is with the pre-loved Bolides IMO. I have not seen Birkins less than half the full price new, but Bolides, even good condition ones can go for way less than half.

Unless it was driven over by a truck, I think that a preloved Bolide is the way to go since she can go to Hermes for a spa treatment. I was planning that for my own Bolide.

I hear the 10 Anthra is more of a steel gray this year...I personally see a bit of blue undertone as compared to 07 Plomb.
