Hee hee...both bags are from 2008 (you already know that one is anthra), and the other item is from 2009.

And since I am giving you years you have by now figured out that I went on a Bal binge. :p

(At least it's a "binge" for me - I know that some folks buy multiple Bals at once, but my bank account unfortunately can't handle that action). :D

Hi BC, sorry for the late reply. I bought the bag off of ebay. I was lucky and it was generally described correctly...there was a bit of what I think is stickiness...it definitely wasn't smooth. It is glossier than my other chevre bags...I have mogano and ink as well...but it is textured, with that kind of smooshy crinkly that happens with the chevre bags, and less so than the agneau lambskin leather. I find that the agneau is more stiff than chevre...at least those that are not broken in at the boutique!

You definitely can sell it if you need to. I have not seen any black 2005 bags ever go unsold for a long long time. Any black chevre ones, really.

Well, I too went on Bal binge and it was multiple bags...sigh...:blushing:

That is my dilemna right now...I am down to the bags that are hard to part with...mostly because they are all bags that will be difficult to find if I want them back...once it took me two years to track one down...the other a few months...

Any advice for letting go of these kinds of bags?

i know what Miss Lo is getting but I won't spill!!!!

I have done it too sold all my "cherished" RM bags! I am so happy and in the process have bought back chanels, balenciaga and YSL. I am very happy. The last few bags I am on the hunt for are on mywishlist and then....who knows there are a zillion more chanels I want but $$$$ no can do for now!

I'm excited!! I'm sure it's a red something, but not sure which one.... I'm sure it will be beautiful, whatever it is. Can't wait to see everyone's pics!! I still need to post a pic of the Betty.

If you love them still, keep them!

However, if you need to sell, by all means bite the bullet and do so. It will come back to you if it's meant to be. :heart:
