I love this! I used to be a 'one bag woman' that is, until tpf. I could always find a bag I loved and if felt like it was part of me.
Now, buying,,,buying,,,, buying....haven't come across much I can't live without.

I dont take my time normally, at least not so long but I wanted a Chanel and figured my 25th would be a great time to buy myself one, id have over a year to save up and it would be extra special I suppose! As far as impulse buying goes, that whiskey paddington took all of 2 mins and i pretty much decided the other day to buy a milk paraty..but thats it until next year, i have to be good or il have no money for a caribbean holiday or to spend in vegas where im heading for my 25th!! Woo Bellagio here I come :yahoo:

The stars have aligned...I just got my income tax return today and my TWO most coveted bags just popped up on ick-bay!!! :nuts:

(Literally within a hour or so of each other). :sweatdrop:

Both are NWT. Horrors!!!

I am waiting to see if they are both authentic first, though - but truth be told, I am 99.99% sure that each is legit.

Weeeeeelll....I paid off the balance on the red Edith that I had on layaway, so that's one; and then a bag that I am almost positive is the elusive small/medium brick red Paraty just popped up on ick-bay, NWT!

And right before that, a sublime Betty hobo appeared. :faint:

I messaged the sellers with questions. I honestly think that the Paraty seller might have the bag mislabeled, and there's a scratch on the bag that I want to know more about - it's hard to tell from the pic if it's something that can be buffed out. The bag is marked waaaaaaay up (but still significantly less than retail - I just happen to know that the brick red Paraty went on sale in December for far less than the seller is asking).

Sometimes I wish I that I didn't know so much about what I was buying, know what I mean? :nuts:

The Boyy bags are just too hawt, though. The chain on the Slash is so tuff - it's very thithi, IMO. :yes:

I found it. Why do you think it might be mislabeled? The size? I know this seller often buys discount from outlets and then resells on ebay. The scratches look small, but I don't know if conditioner would take them out... worst comes to worst, I've heard of girls using acrylic paint to touch up areas like that. Hmm... if the price is high, maybe sit it out for a while and see if it gets relisted? Considering the scratch, I doubt someone will pay that much if it was on sale for much less in December.

I couldn't find that Betty though... it's not the one with the chain strap is it?:sweatdrop:

I'm glad to hear that you've got the Edith on it's way! Maybe it will appease that Paraty hunger for a while?

There was one small BV wallet in ebano today on Bluefly, plus I had an extra code, so I ended up getting it! Although I only plan to buy 1 bag this year, I have a few SLG needs/wants, and a small wallet was one of them. It’ll also tide me over (sort of) until I can make my big purchase, hopefully soon. I’m hoping to make it to Tyson’s this weekend to try on some things and see some colors in person before making my final decision. And, as always, I hope my sales pick up so I can actually pull the trigger! I might try to multi-task and list a few things tonight as I watch the Maryland – Duke game.

I used to have TONS of Dooney & Bourkes and it got to the point where I no long used them b/c I became a Coach fan, so I sold about 8 D&B's on eBay. I now only have 2 D&B's left and those are the 2 I use the most often. My Coach collection is small only 2 bags and about 5 wallets/cluthes. 1 Chanel which I could never ever part with.
I wish I would have used the D&B eBay money to buy a LV, but instead I used it to pay my bills b/c I was looking for a job at the time.

I don't regret it though.

A BV wallet is an excellent investment - in fact, if I had to get any SLGs right now (which I don't need - and someone should remind me of this) I would get a red BV coin purse. I ADORE them!

I can't wait to see your wallet! :heart:
