Ever purged your collection in pursuit of one bag? How did it go?

Check out the Sony Reader! You can check out e-books from the library on it.

It is my favorite of all the e-readers (I work in that industry so I have them all). It's smaller than a Kindle and IMO has sexier product design. It's very ipod like. You connect it to the computer to add books, but it's not a hassle and works just like iTunes.

It's also cheaper than a Kindle and it's made of high impact aluminum, not plastic.
I just looked up the sony-but a few different models came up. Which one do you recommend? I just went to the bookstore with my son and picked up a book but I am starting to think these digital readers are a good money and space saving idea.

So much for eliminating bags to fund one, lol. In the recent months I've sold:

A YSL.
4 Diors.
2 LVs.

And I just got a Marc Jacobs, a Prada and a Coach tote (which I just got today, lol.)

I think what works best with me personally is recycling. Get the worth from it, use it a few times and then re-sell it. It helps that brand name bags do fetch a good value in the reselling process....

Handbag Girl, I KNOW the feeling....
12 bags sold (mid range) for a Burberry AND a Tod's G Bag TDF!!!
But at least those two will keep me happy for a WHILE!!! But yes, a monster - a HIGH END monster!!

I recommend either the Pocket Edition or the Touch Edition. If you want to buy a little cheaper, look for the Sony 505 - it's no longer in production but I still like that model.

TejasMama, I was at CES last month. I didn't see anything too impressive there. It seemed like a lot of companies weren't at the show this year, sadly. I think the economy is catching up with consumer electronics.

Back to topic --

Has anyone been having good luck with sales of bags? I need some motivation to get my stuff listed.

I've been doing quite poorly with this whole purging business. I get a bunch of flakey buyers (I do C-list rather than Bonanzle and Ebay) who keep backing out, which is really pissing me off...

I do have two new interested parties in my items right now and I'm hoping they'll pull through, but I'm keeping my hopes low. And I'm irritated cause I mark my items to a price pretty much as low as I can go (like 70% off retail or something) and people still offer me 50% of the price I've listed. Why don't they just ask for it for free? Ugh. I know I know, they don't see the value in it as I do, and obviously no one asked me to pay so much for it in the first place...but still, it hurts my fragile little heart.
