congrats Lo!!! I have no idea what a bayswater looks like, but i'm sure i'll see pics soon. Too bad it's not the easy, but I'm glad you found a red that you love!!!

Loquita,

:) :) :) very cool! - the red Mulberry story

And thanks for your words- I will consider these things the next few days.. do they bring me joy? and will i be using them. Excellent.

Very good. I like this wisdom... not worrying about a certain type collection, or whatever...
just having those bags that truly bring us joy. And that we'll use.

Glad to hear that you are finding this thread really helpful, gratefull!! And I honestly can't add anything to fashion_mom's wise words. It is certainly wonderful in some regards to be raised with a sense of the need for limits, but that also can be oppressive at times. Perhaps the healthiest approach is somewhere in between collecting and buying with complete abandon and never allowing yourself any luxuries (as long as you can reasonably afford them)?

Looking for to hearing what you decide about your bags! :smile1:

Thanks so much, Antonia, thithi, pink diamond, Odeb, thedseer, and redskater!

I am so excited for this bag - and thithi, I am still interested in the Easy bag, but I have been leaning towards the patent - but I was not entirely sold on the shade of red for the patent Easy, tbh. I am looking for a deeper red, and that is what this Bays is.

That doesn't mean that I am not seriously considering another YSL perhaps, though. :graucho: I just want to think about it some more! I am in love with so many YSL styles that I am easily tempted by one or another...

I promise to post pics as soon as I get the Baywater!!!! It ships tomorrow. Am counting the nanoseconds (and since it's coming from the UK, that probably isn't a good thing...I expect to be counting for a good while).

I don't know why this is so hard for me, but I did take pics of 4 yesterday and now I just need that push to list them. I loved cleaning out the kitchen, I hate having to rummage around to find anything. Between DH and I, we have 3 sets of formal china, and 3 sets of everyday wear, who needs that much china????? I'm going to have a huge garage sale this spring! Ok, no more procrastinating, off to list a few!
Wow! Me on the otherhand, never has enough china... I hate spending money on that sort of stuff.

Good job with the pics! Taking pics is always the hardest part for me... the lighting, the positioning, etc is so tedious. Once you've done that, the listing is so much easier! Did you list them yet?? Do it, do it!!

And Lo, I saw the pic of a bayswater.... very classy!! I think you made a great choice. Can't wait to see the pics... I want to see this deep gorgeous red.

yeah, the fees suck.... you can list your bags for cheaper on bonanzle without worrying about the fees, but sometimes I'm too impatient for Bonanzle. I only list on ebay if I want it to sell quickly, and if I can't come up with a price on my own(auction-style).
