This is probably really OCD of me, but I printed out a contact sheet of pictures of my bags and hung it in my closet so I wouldn't forget what's in there. It helps when I go in to change a bag - I just take a look at that and figure out what I want to pull out instead of digging through dustbags for 15 minutes.
It also helped when it came down to deciding what needed to go because there were pics on there that just didn't thrill me anymore - those were the bags that are on the "to be sold" list.
You and I are very similar klj! I tend to go for neutral bags too, rather than pops of color. I have the most grey, black, wine and purple bags. Why I need 30 bags in these colors is beyond me. I'm purging a bunch right now that I'm just not using. After that, I will take another good look at my collection and finally decide if I should go for my dream Bal or Chloe. I'm liking this idea more and more so I think it's just a matter of time before I decide to go for it.![]()
