Here's my mini update ladies.
I"m down to a much smaller collection but boy am one handbag happy collector!
I have my navy Muse YSL,
Bottega Ebano Campana,
and Tod's G bag in black and white as my top 4 bags in my collection.
I do own a few other Misc bags but these are my everyday choices.
The Tod's has turned out to be my all time favorite for several reasons.
I"ve by now sold all my Belen Echandia's, Rebecca Minkoff, LV, YSL downtown's, Hogan, and more.
This thread has been very helpful in my purging process. I feel that when I was bogged down with all the bags I owned that it was an obstacle in my enjoyment of bags, period.
Now I"m enjoying much fewer handbags but it's a more genuine enjoyment.
For instance, I"ve been wearing my G bag now for weeks and have absolutely no desire to change over to another bag. And I never feel guilty for letting so many expensive bags just sit in my closet in their dust bags. That feeling is 100% gone due to this purging jouney.
And I LOVE not having my thoughts on what will be my next purchase. I"m not saying I won't ever buy another bag. I just did actually - a white Tod's G bag. But buying now feels different. It's fun and enjoyable without any stress or worry if I'll be wasting yet more money.
Sometimes I look back and say what was I thinking being so loyal to the wrong designer's or styles that just didn't work for me. But then again it got me to this point AND that's a good thing!
I"m finally done with my purging. Yippeee!!!
