Actualy, I hadn't thought of that, but it does. It was not a custom design that we had done, however it may have been someone elses and they decided not to buy it??? We purchased it semi-rushed.....(I was RUSHING) because I wanted immediate satisfaction and wanted to leave the store with a ring on my finger. This ring was the most unique and biggest my jewler had in the store at the time. I went back a week later thinking I might change the ring but when I actually began looking at settings and putting the stones in them and designing the ring I thought I should have, I realized I already have the ring I am supposed to have. At this point, unless I can upgrade to 5 or 6 carats, I'm more then happy. I have not seen anything like it yet after spending the last few weeks pouring over engagment ring sites and forums. I have aso since added a ring gaurd and I think that helps my rediculous need to add more sparkle to that finger
Thank you! I have been going back and forth debating a canary diamond too. I always thought that is what I wanted in an engagment ring too. I am still tempted but am thinking of maybe getting my wedding band in alternating canary and white pave stones....(eternity).....not sure.

That sounds beautiful!! I can't wait to see the two together. If anything, maybe you can get two wedding bands and stack them - one white and one with yellow pave eternity diamonds haha
Also, about your comment to simplygm. . . I am the exact same way! Everyone is asking me about my wedding plans and assuming it'll be sometime next year, but it's not going to happen for a while. Frankly, I'm more excited about getting married than the actual wedding and wedding planning itself. . .
QueenCoCo, I am 100% with you! That is why my bf and I are just planning a no-frills reception so I don't have to deal with dress hunting, bouquets, etc. Hehe. I've always thought Town Hall had its own charm We are planning to save that money for retirement/savings/travel/etc. . . . or more jewelry hehe

I love the look of diamonds but here's a question; does an engagement ring have to have a diamond in it? Not that I am engaged! But I think I might prefer a ring with just a large sapphire or emerald if I could choose my own?
