Engagement Rings- What does yours look like?

woo hoo, after waiting we finally got my e-ring! 
hubs and I got married April 2009, we've been together 7 years on the day we got married. we weren't really planning to get married until a few years later but we had a lovely surprise, our daughter, and wanted to start our family right, so we had a wedding and hubs was ready to get me a ring, but it didn't feel right to me as we had expenses to pay (wedding, baby, etc) so i told him to put it off. We were finally ready and i had a hard time looking for a ring that was ME. I looked at the box stores in the mall and they were OK, really looked like everyone else's ring, and I wanted to be different, but my taste was more the classic 4 prong tiffany look, or the ribbon ring.
Finally found an independently owned jeweler whose ethics I loved (full disclosure, very respectable, great service) it was a match made in heaven! when he first showed me the ring I cringed as it wasn't me at all, but the more I compared it to other rings that were typically me and everyone else, I knew that this was the one for me. More so, what i liked about it was when looking down at my ring i can see right through it which is what pretty much won me over.
So w/o further adiue here is my ring:
center diamond
.55ctw, canadian brilliant cut diamond (fine +), f, SI2, w/ it's own laser ID.
one side is has a tube blue diamond, 0.02 ctw enhanced blue diamond, si1 clarity.
I'm soo happy with the ring..love it to pieces! just deciding if I would get side stones later on, or not..my only dilemma is that the side stones will not match my band as my band is a shared setting, and the side stones are pave. What i like about the side stones is that it adds a little glitter to my band, makes the band appear more tapered. So not sure, what do you gals think?? PS hubs is totally against a 3rd band so that is out of the question..lol i just want a lil more bling on my finger...maybe next time I go into the store I will take a picture of the one w/ side stones so I can decide.
BTW, the ring is at home w/ me, but I still want my hubs to propose so I still have that moment..so still waiting for it to be fully mine...but sooo excited! thanks for reading

I love everyone's rings!! I've been looking on here for a while now and I guess it's my time to share. I am newly engaged! My now fiance popped the question on Christmas day in Carmel Ca on the beach. It wasn't a total surprise since I helped pick out the ring, but nonetheless it was still very special.
It's a custom 2.2 carat ideal cut F color with tiny micro pave diamonds on the side. It has a halo, but IRL can't really see the halo a lot because the diamond sits on top of the halo so it just adds a little more sparkle to the diamond.
