I've seen trillions that are a "cushion" type cut with the rounded points instead of sharp ones. That's an option. The ring is magnificent, though, just like it is. Perfect. The eternity band and the radiant just look exquisite together.

how funny, our pear rings are almost the same size (center stone)—mine is 2.75 carats. yours looks so much bigger than mine, i wonder if the cut is different? it's definitely more white though—mine is an L color, which i love, but i love your G color as well. what a beauty!

either way, it's stunning. :drool:

Thanks! It is definitely the way the diamond is cut. One of my request for the pear was to come as close to a perfect cut as possible. I did not want the point to be long. DH did months of research,he said the cut is very important,cut too shallow not enough sparkle, cut to deep the diamond looks smaller then stated carat weight:D

I got engaged yesterday to the man of my dreams with the ring of my dreams!!!!

Cartier Ballerine, 2.01 ct emerald cut center stone, VS1, F color, i think the side stones are .6 carats total weight. I am a size 7 finger. I am in LOOOVVEEEE :love:
