Won my videogame auction at an awesome price (just $49 less than retail), told me she had problems with PayPal so I let her wait for 4 days. I got a little worried so I emailed her twice on Sunday, one to ask if everything's alright, and the other is to remind her that I will wait until a certain day to let her pay. She never responded or paid at all. I sent her a canceled transaction thingy and relisted the item. Still hasn't paid as of today...

one of her feedbacks mentioned she takes awhile to pay, while everything else praises her for fast payment. WTH?

NPB: kitnkate
100% feedback with negatives "mutually" removed. :wtf:

No contact/communication for a week until the day I opened an unpaid item case. Her excuse was that she thought it was a size 14 instead of a size 4. Plausible, right? No, not when I specifically stated in the description that it was equivalent to a size Small. In what universe is a size 14 = to a size Small? Plus, this particular brand doesn't even make a size 14! Nice try. I got a good laugh out of it.

Not a NPB but a buyer who altered a bag and filed with eBay:

Bought my vintage Bonnie Cashin Bag and decided to clean and moisturize it. She damaged the bag and filed with eBay. eBay found in my favor immediately.

She must have called eBay the next day and complained and they gave her a courtesy refunThey paid her back, but not out of my account. Is this what we pay high fees for?

Hello Ladies:

I am new here, and I hate for my first post to be in a negative context...but I am really frustrated with buyer: pinkcrocodile

She purchsed a Coach keychain from me in December and paid promptly. I sent out her item soon thereafter. A day or two after I mailed my item, her money was refunded to her Paypal account! I didn't even know this could happen unless there was a dispute and eBay granted her money back. I tried e-mailing her several times over the course of 2 months, with no reply. When I checked out her feedback, all of them praised her for prompt payment. At first I thought it may have been an oversight, and gave her the benefit of the doubt, however; absolutely no response whatsoever to my e-mails. I am now without the bag or the money. Very frustrating!

How could this be? Doesn't PP make someone file a claim with eBay?? This sucks!! Not fair and not good business for PayPal (as if they really care). Sorry this happened to you, JeniAlexa!!

Hi,
I will get to the non paying buyers, but I think it is more important to aknowledge the fraudulent buyers :) I have one from Latvia, she actually had the nerve to give me a negative feedback for shoes she bought for $500+ and I paid $400+ for in Barneys, I sent her the receipt and the sticker from the box! Still, she went ahead and persued the fake despute with paypal and guess what? Paypal refunded her (from my account) and told her she doesn't have to return the shoes, she can just destroy them, LOL! Knowing that we as Ebay sellers are so exposed, we should somehow compile a list of people who are up to these scams.

Ebay Member: anne.1b (Australia based)

Won an auction of mine last December for x amount. When i sent her the payment details she replied back saying she didn't have that kind of money that she could only pay me half of what she originally won the auction for WTF?! she even said: "i could pay you through paypal ony just so you avoid ebay charges" i emailed her back saying that i was willing to wait a week for ger to get all the money as i was counting with that money big time at the time otherwise i wouldn't have put up for auction such a loved item, to what she replied : " i can't afford it, sorry. I got carried away bidding i guess. I'm 18" so what? sorry but, i had no sympathy regardless her age. Why bidding on something you can't afford?!
In the end, i did a second chance offer but, Ebay didn't let me leaver her negative feedback? i wish i knew about this thread before as this happened last December

I've NEVER heard of any company - PP, credit cards, eBay, etc., - telling someone they don't have to return whatever they purchased. In fact, you must send the return before you get your money back. Something very strange here!

It does happen occasionally.

If a seller has a no-return policy and ebay finds in the buyer's favor, since the seller says "no returns," ebay will give the money back to the buyer as well as not requiring the buyer to return the item.

Even sellers with no-return policies should agree to the return when buyers file claims. Otherwise they risk loss of money and item.

Thanks for the info! I've seriously never heard of that happening but I'm glad to know that.
