When eBay stopped letting sellers leave negative feedback I tried having a website where sellers COULD leave feedback. Nothing came of it because I posted a link to my feedback website in all my auctions. The best thing to do is keep a list next to your computer and if you see any of the deadbeat bidders bidding on your items, CANCEL their bid. Also, you can add their userids to your 'blocked bidder' list within eBay and not have to worry about them any more. I would love to see their face when a bid is canceled or when they try and bid and your auction won't let them. Seriously, they are just wasting sellers time and preventing REAL buyers from buying. Some people might not do that because they COULD possibly lose a real sale ..

Sent me an offer for a Bal - I accepted her offer and sent an invoice. No word from the buyer. On the second day, I sent her a friendly email asking if everything was OK with the transaction. No response. On the fourth day, just before the unpaid item assistant kicked in, I sent her another invoice with a friendly note asking if she was planning on paying. No response. I get an email a day after the unpaid item case opened saying that she thought the price was $1000 (it was, since that was her offer) and that her eBay coupon expired and she wasn't paying. Actually, in her badly spelled email she said she was but I assume in that case "can pay" actually meant "can't" because she then emailed me again with the laconic "sorry" and disappeared. As of today (fourth day of unpaid item case), still no word.

Compilation going back to around Oct 2010 I think. It is a great resource but not fool-proof... I just posted a new name in my previous post. Sadly, with our inability to leave negative feedback, these seem to happen more and more.

googooo4gaga- gave her 8 days to pay, opened a case, she told me she wanted to pay with cashier's check, didn't get her way, called me obscene names, left negative feedback (ebay removed), and bought a couple other items instead of paying for the one she bought from me.
you can block people like that from contacting you or bidding on your items. if that happened once just block them. and report them for harrassment. I wouldn't put up with that.
