Made an offer, I accepted, then they asked for additional pictures afterwards. I asked which specific pictures and reminded them that they had to pay within 48 hours. Never responded or paid, even after an additional follow-up reminder and invoice were sent.

Update: I opened an Unpaid Item Claim. THEN she messaged and asked to cancel the offer because "I got a cheaper price." I politely responded that I would not cancel the offer, and requested payment. She responded and said: "Well I’m sorry I don’t have the money for it."

Close the UID as soon as you can and she'll have a strike. DO NOT reward her irresponsibility by canceling.

I don’t know what is going on with EBay. I made 5 sales in January. The total amount of items I actually sold was 2; three unpaid item claims. I listed a first bag, it got sold, unpaid item case opened, I listed it again made sale and the buyer is happy. What really surprises me is all the buyers had more than 50 positive feedbacks.

rebva741 and 5ylmele-38 for the same bag. Maybe the third time will be the charm?!

Honestly for the fees they charge the services they provided to protect the seller is so minimal. :( annoying

I wasn't the seller but heard about this from the seller.

First the buyer complained about the shipping cost being too high and that shipping was slow. (Item was delivered within 4 days.) Then filed SNAD dispute claiming item is "smaller than it looked in the pictures." Measurements were given, and in both item specifics and description, the bag was described as small.

This is a clear case of a remorseful buyer lying in order not to have to pay shipping.

And 4 minutes after the buyer escalated, ebay closed the case in the buyer's favor.

I just found this thread. It is really very useful. The buyer that did this to me is not longer on ebay. However, I still want to share my story. I sold a pair of Louboutins with a very honest description and lots of pictures. A few days after they received the item, they asked to return it because it was more used than shown, which was a lie. The person who bought them was a man but the shipping address was to a woman’s name. I sent them an email, asking to see what the problem areas were but never heard back. I don’t know how it occurred to me but I googled her name. And lo and behold there she is in pictures in twitter and instagram wearing the shoes and bragging. Of course I declined the return and sent a complaint to ebay for fraud. I doubt they did anything, but at least I never heard anything from those guys again. The nerve of some people.

Found this one in Ebay Community:

krobp

They posted this:

"I had asked the seller a few times to contact the post office since the package they sent was stalled in the process and eventually stayed stalled for 6 days. The seller gave me lip service and told me not to worry, the package will eventually arrive. This is the reason I gave negative feedback that ebay consequently removed"

Also, they give ridiculous negs and neutrals, and post follow-ups, on positives they left for sellers, like this:

In excellent condition!!! Works as it should!!! All 5 Stars!!!
  • Follow-up by b***r (Sep-05-14 18:18):
No feedback left for me, horrible seller

Hello everyone, time to share my story :)
my buyer leverage2019 bought from me vintage Gucci pouch and in 2 days vintage Gucci shoulder bag clutch, the first one was sent from my USA address and the other one from GREECE where I am for the moment, the first one was delivered but I didn't upload the tracking details just sent him the message. The other one was delayed a little , but for this listing I offered standard international shipping it means that the shipping can take 7-27 bussiness days, usually the packages riched recipient in 10-14 days but I wanted be covered because sometimes things happened. Anyway on 12th day he opened undelivered item case on Ebay, I don't know how he could but he did, My tracking showed that the package was in transit , then suddenly he opened the new case for the first pouch which was delivered :) , I immidiately upload the tracking, and thanks god this case was closed in the same day. Then I wrote to Ebay that maybe my buyer just scammer ( clever one, seems like he just looks for the opportunuty to grab the items for free) they answered that they undestand what I said especially after he open the case for the second delivered bag but the first case is still open . The package arrived in the Post office on 03/25 and the tracking shewed expected delivery on 03/25, the other day it just showed that it was in the Post office, after 3 days I did searching request but USPS never responded, For 2 days I tried to call them but without success. Then I open the case and somebody fro USPS answer but they still looking for it :)))))
I ask the buyer if he got the bag , no anwer and I close to believe that the bag was delivered and they just never update the tracking information, because if the bag is in the Post office why he didn't go there to take it or if he didn't wanted any more refused to take it. Ebay put the case on hold .
He did the same to other 2 sellers, I contacted with them to see what happened. Anyway I reported him for scam, an other sellers will do it . Don't know if it helps :( ...
